These people wasted an hour of my time and made me walk a mile (more than these old bats have walked in years) because you didnt like the documents I had, and then these ladies acted like I inconvenienced them.

That being said, lady at the front was friendly + helpful & I got it done after work.sure dont wanna go again.

How is it you guys never answer the phone, but you make the trip out there and you say I have to make an appointment? Answer your phones. Horrible service.

Everyone was kind, clear on the process and what was needed. Nicole even let me try calling my bank to get the title document they need to register my car. I have to go back, but it was because the bank hold time was too high.

Came during busy lunch hours. Sure there’s a bit of a wait, but from the greeting/sign-in to the actual processing the staff was friendly and professional. Everyone was helpful and with great attitudes.

I waited 2 hours, they kicked me back because my social had no middle name and because my CAC had N for no middle initial, they told me she couldn't take it because she's"never seen one with just a N".

Slowest service in three counties. I've driven to Pulaski & Ogdensburg DMV instead many times and it's still shorter, even with the drive!
Update: better now that we have appointments.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Tried submitting proof of insurance, the clerk said "We can't accept that, that's just a policy, we need the one with a barcode. " about the paper I presented that very clearly was titled "Verification of insurance" and also within the first sentence of said paper clearly stated ". This is not an insurance policy. "

Meanwhile 2 weeks earlier I came in for a similar transaction and they were perfectly able to receive documents by email, without barcodes mind you, and submit them that way.
Please hire people that actually know how to process DOT paperwork, or create a proper standard for processing it and ensure new-hires are well versed in it.

If only I could give minus stars. Don't tell me you are not a DMV clerk so you don't know what documents I need. You work there you should at least have a cheat sheet while sitting at the desk pretending to work.

Update your website so folks can get what they need done without dealing with such level of incompetence.

Had to make appt. Appt time I stepped right In. Krista spent a long time fixing my mistakes and helping through process of registering boat and trailer out of Wisconsin. Thanks to the other woman who came over to help out too. You all made my day and restored my faith in the dmv.

I made an appointment the weekend before and even though I was a little early (about 10 minutes) and I was still promptly served. Renewing my license was fairly painless, and having forms filled out ahead of time makes your time there shorter, and their jobs easier.
A big improvement over previous trips.

Everyone complains about our DMV but I had a really good experience at this location today. I needed to upgrade my license class. Went in with an appointment and paperwork all filled out and I was there for 5 minutes. Handed over the paperwork, paid the $5 fee and she voided my current license and handed over the new temporary license.

My tip to those planning to go to the DMV: Set up an appointment and arrive on time with the paperwork filled out and ready.

I have literally never in my life left a review for anywhere I felt I had to because of this place. I called and called and never got an answer then when I decided to finally go up there I was told I needed to call to make an appointment or use their Dropbox. All I'm trying to do is have them request from the dealership is my documents to register my car.

My appointment was quick and I left with everything I needed.

I went to exchange my out of state drivers license for a New York license. Going to their website beforehand, I was able to quickly navigate to the section for exchanging out of state licenses. From there, the page gave me a list of forms of identification to pick from, once I completed my selections the site gave me a printout of all documents I needed to bring with me.

After bringing all the documents from my checklist I was in and out in 10 minutes with my new license and while the system was processing my information, Tasha was able to explain to me how to register my vehicles with the military tax exemption. She also provided the paperwork for it and went over everything I needed to fill out so I can be just as prepared for my next appointment.

I'm fully confident that my next appointment for my plate registrations will go as smooth as this time.

I made an appointment and was 5 minutes late. They said " no problem". Help me with the paperwork that was mostly filled out explained everything to me and was done in about 10 minutes. Super courteous and vry pleasant. Third time I have been there and it's always the same. Lot Betty

I was stationed at Fort Drum and moved to Fort Campbell. I left and mailed my plates back to the dmv. They mailed my Title to the previous address on fort Drum instead of Campbell and now I’m trying to jump through hoops to try and get my title so I can give it to the dealership I sold the car too.

Can't get our car registered because they rescheduled once, lied about when they'd be back from quarantine, then somehow managed to call the wrong number for the second rescheduling. Can only offer us one date that we can't make. Absolutely inexcusable. Have lived here for three months and can't legally drive our vehicle until at least August.

The staff was super friendly and willing to help. Made appointment months ago, but many people in line to check in, not allowing to social distance. Staff worked as fast as possible to clear the back up. A deli style number system could be useful. Other than that staff did well dealing with non appointment people arriving.
