Dr Kuo performed my surgery on 10/28/22. It’s been almost 10 months and I am still having problems swallowing. I was sent to another doctor associated with this hospital and still no improvement. I feel Dr Kuo and her PA did not help me post surgery with this issue. I went in to see her and nothing was done. She wasn’t concerned at all. And now I am struggling. If you are considering surgery with Dr Kuo make sure you ask all the right questions. In my case I was not cared for properly. It’s very upsetting knowing I went to solve a problem and came out with a different problem.

This was the first time in my life I required a surgery and I am rounding 50 years old. Dr. Kuo spoke with me calmly and allayed all my fears. Dr. Kuo was very kind and very knowledgeable. Even after the surgery she followed up with me. I hope to never need her again but would highly recommend Dr. Kuo.

I saw Dr. Kuo (& her assistant Joe) for RFA on a 3.7 cm nodule nearly 2.5 months ago and I had a really great experience. So far after one month, my nodule has shrunk by 49.97% and I’m thrilled! The procedure was painless and my healing was super easy. Also, my insurance ended up covering the cost and I’m happy about that too! I’m very excited to see how my nodule continues to shrink. Thank you so much Dr. Kuo!

Dr. Kuo was very thorough in explaining my procedure (retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy) It went off without a hitch! No real pain…only needed Tylenol. Loved her!

Dr. Kuo should give more details as to the severity of a thyroidectomy.
