Jerk Pan Foodtruck reviews
7I come here once a week- always lovely service, delicious food well cooked and fresh and amazing prices
Ordered the jerk chicken and it was decent but not great. For $13 you get a medium platter with rice & beans, and you can get 3 sides that includes macaroni, plantains, and steamed vegs. The portions were generous. Will go back to try the curry goat and oxtail.
I’ve been here twice and gotten the oxtails with, plantains and rice and beans. The flavor is out of this world and the oxtail is incredibly tender. They were also generous with their portion sizes. I really enjoyed the meal so much! They offer a lunch special, medium and large size for dishes.
Allow me to begin by stating that this food truck undeniably offers some delectable fried and jerk chicken. However, I must express my disappointment regarding the noticeable decline in the quality of their curry goat. While the fried chicken with rice and beans that I ordered was truly exceptional and left me thoroughly satisfied, the curry goat accompanied by white rice was a profound letdown. The flavor profile was lacking, and to exacerbate matters, the rice itself was disappointingly dry. It is my sincere hope that the food truck addresses this issue promptly and rectifies the situation as soon as possible.
The curry shrimp, rice peas and cabbage was really good. The oxtails are really good too. Looking to try other items on their menu
I've tried the jerk chicken, oxtail and curry chicken with rice and peas and plantains. Value wise the food is great for the price. Plantains were inedible, very dry and hard. Curry chicken was supposed to be goat, gave wrong order. Was delicious though.
Omg the black school bus food cart between 69th & 70th street and York Ave is delicious, I had been wanting some real jamaican food so last week Friday was my first time and it was everything I went back on Monday to get a dish and ordered some more today, I've gotten different dishes but overall I was pleased and satisfy, so whenever I go back down in the area I'll buy another dish if I'm still in the mood for Jamaican Food.
