Jersey Mike's Subs, Freeport NY

I've been to Jersey Mike's before but it was my first time coming to this specific location. They seem to be very clean and organized. The customer service was ok. The workers seem to be either very tired or what but don't seem to be very happy to be working there or what. I work in customer service and even I know that whenever someone comes in to my job no matter what is going on in my life I'm always very happy & friendly to help them. I'm not sure if I would come back again because the sandwich that I purchased doesn't even tastes all the great. The meat is really bland & not very flavorful. I'm a little disappointed to say the least

They will always get 5 stars from me. Always clean, friendly and nice the subs are out of this world good.

Always grab a freshly made sandwich dat hits da spot (could go 4 1 now honestly) the rosemary parm bread my favorite & u gotta get dat Chipotle mayo.

The food is amazing! The reason why I give them a 4 Star is because there is a young lady who works there that every time I walk in she refuses to serve me. She truly goes and gets anyone else. At first I thought I was bugging out. So I told my husband about it and you know he had to put it to the test (on more than one occasion) and he was blown away. More so because she will check him out at the register lol

Fresh ingredients but limited menu. First time, but not inclined to return. I like Subways much better.

I love Jersey Mikes, this location is very convenient for me, 2min drive from work 5min drive from home. Which is unfortunate for me, because 9/10 Matt or Mack (can’t seem to even get his correct name) is on shift when I order.

I use the Jersey Mike App to preorder so I can just pick it up and go, i generally give it about 15 minutes. There’s no point in using the app when this particular guy is there. No matter how long I wait or how not busy they are, my sandwich is never even started before I walk in. I finally said something to him about it, after preordering and THEN waiting 25mins AFTER ARRIVAL STILL WITH NOTHING, as was a uber wats driver waiting longer than I, mind you they weren’t busy. And he allowed another customer to verbally attack me, doing nothing to diffuse or rectify the situation, never even willing to admit he missed my order.

The manager, Princess handled the situation and I felt satisfied and have tried to continue business there as usual, but no matter what if that guy is working I get horrible service. At this point it almost feel purposeful, I walk in tonight 20mins after ordering, 30mins before close and guess what my sandwich was “missed” on the que and I was informed they’d make it now. The younger guy in staff offered an apology which made me feel a little better.all the while getting the cold shoulder from my pal.

Just saying Jersey Mikes is great, but maybe try a different location other than Freeport if it’s your first time. Don’t let their poor customer service ruin it for you.

First time coming to this place I order online with specific instruction after waiting 30 mins went in to pick up order and they didn’t even start making the order waited 45 mins for sandwich first and last time here

Always liked this place. The sandwiches are always prepped and ready to go. The employees are there to help and serve you with a smile.

My favorite part is that they make the sandwich right there with premium cuts. It's a welcome addition to the Freeport location.

My one recommendation is that you should expect a tiny wait when they get your sandwich. Seems like everyone lines up to get a sandwich here!

I am posting less to bash the restaurant and more to warn anyone with celiac or a gluten sensitively like me not to eat here. There was a big sign in the window advertising that they had Udi's Gluten Free Subs available, so I decided to give it a try since I love Udi's products. I ordered chicken bacon ranch and was later informed after I paid that chicken and meatball subs can't be made gluten free (as mentioned in a super tiny asterisks at the bottom of said poster). I asked why not, is the chicken not gluten free? She said she didn't know but if I really wanted she could make it for me. As I said I have a gluten sensitively and typically don't have bad reactions as long as I take my digestive aid, so I said okay as I did happen to have my pills on me. The girl was very kind, hand delivered the sub to my table and even told me that she put extra bacon on it to apologize for the delay/miscommunication. The bread itself was cold, and this is a hot sub. I understand that the bread was most likely frozen to stretch the shelf life but it should not have been this cold. Not even a quarter of the way through the sandwich I started to feel nauseous. Again, the ladies who worked there were very willing to accommodate, but I hope this helps to warn anyone with such dietary issues as myself before they eat here.

Rude staff and poorly organized. Waited patiently and still treated with disrespect.

Update: Another employee apologized and offered myself and the other patrons free drinks and coupons for our next visit. I understand being stressed at work but taking it out on the customers is never the way to handle it.

My boyfriend and I have only been to this location once and he became very ill after finishing his sub. I don't know for sure if the sub is exactly what caused the illness, but I have a pretty good idea.never eating here again.

Service is always exceptional and the food is always fresh and good. I would definitely recommend it

Tasty subs prepared quickly, esp by one young lady who quite possible sets the record for the speediest creation of a hero bar none.

I was pleasantly surprised at Jersey Mikes today. I ordered a store roasted mini-roast beef sandwich with provolone cheese, jalapeño peppers (optional), onions (optional), and vinegar. It was absolutely delicious.

This is the second time I placed and online order and the order was not available when I arrived. Not only was it not ready.they did not even know there was an online order receipt hanging down from register. This is the second time and there was no apology or compensation for my time wasted! Two customers also walked out without there food because of the 40 non wait. 40 minute wait with no customers in sight! Not cool Jersey Mikes! Losing business!

Great sandwiches great price woulda gave em 5 stars if they knew what lite on the oil ment it was like I got yessed to death but he still made it "his way" but I won't eat at subway & tired of the same sandwich at blimpie costing me a different price every single time I go & they also need to revamp there bread recipe if they, even wanna thought to compete with Jersey mikes which will soon be all over unlike blimpie & I want a sandwich on a hero blimpie not on a long bun.

Waited a year for this place to open! Totally worth it! The famous Philly is really Good! The only thing missing woul be a nice lemonade! Looking forward to my next visit!

Food is not that good. Definitely over rated place. If you get the 50% coupons its affordable thats about it.
