Jewel Bagels, Queens NY

Used to be good. Today had tuna bagel, gave me very little tuna. Time before gave 2 bagels instead of tuna bagel so when I got to work and opened the bag was 2 bagels. (short guy w gold teeth prepared both times).

If you’re looking for healthy and fresh food, Jewel bagels is the place to go to, huge place everything is clean, fresh, and delicious. Aside from the huge bagel and breakfast selection they also have a huge variety of fresh juices. After a workout I usually go there to get my strawberry banana smoothie and it’s all natural all fresh ingredients done on the spot, very delectable. Highly recommend!

Was on hold for 20 minutes just to be told they cant take my order… am i not a paying customer! Awful service!

Excellent Kosher bagel place. Outstanding service and done with exquisite professionalism.

Waited over 20 minutes for my order and was overcharged. Employees should be more educated on the price list. When I asked for a refund for the overcharged after showing the employee the menu price list she said she can’t do the refund because the owner was not there and she already charged my card. Very poor customer service.

They were helpful in the different brunch options and describing what was in each part of the menu.
Had the avocado toast, French toast and iced mochas.
Accommodated milk and chickpea allergies.

I thought long and hard before writing this review, and have given this place many repeated chances and nothing has changed.

The customer service in this place is just terrible. And they always seem to be understaffed. Every time I go I'm thinking "this time will be better" but I'm constantly proven wrong. The food happens to be ok, but that's where it ends. Here are the issues:

1. Most times, my order has been wrong. Being that I take it to go, I don't even realize until I open it.
2. When I order, I realize most customers who ordered after me have received their food. When I follow up, it turns out the fry cook forgot to start my order. (This happened 3 times, and each time it was the older white lady with the blonde hair taking my order.)
3. I usually order the same thing every time I go, yet the prices seem to be different each time depending on who is working the register.
4. This place used to be MUCH better staffed and customer service friendly when it was Bagel Boss. I see they kept the menu for the most part but dropped everything else. At times, I'm the next person up on line and still waiting 10+ minutes because they have 2 people working on orders and clearly doing the uber/doordash orders and not attending to the customers in the actual store. All this while the manager stands and watches this growing line from across the room. Again, it all goes back to customer service. The manager of Bagel Boss and Main St Bagels made sure the line is constantly moving and always had a lot more staff hired to help.
5. CATERING: I recently catered a breakfast. I got several Large platters. When I picked it up, I learned what they call a Large, is a medium at places like Main St Bagels. The presentation was nice but the portions were much smaller than expected.

At this point, I will be taking my business elsewhere until this place can get their act together.

Great bagels and great pricing. Awesome service! They gave a cookie for my friends kid, it was so sweet. 10/10 recommend!

The French toast although I didn’t see it on the menu they were extremely accommodating in making it delicious and to my liking.

I come here about 3 times a week and the service is always amazing. The owner and staff are always wonderful with their greeting. PHENOMENAL!

I ordered strawberry/banana pancakes, strawberry pancakes, a strawberry danish, a corn muffin, a medium orange juice and a large tropical juice. I didn’t expect for the fruit to be cooked into the pancakes based on the display picture showing the fruit to be on top and fresh. The only things that were correct about the order was the strawberry/banana pancakes, corn muffin, and the drinks. Instead of a strawberry danish, I got a pineapple danish. I also got straight banana pancakes instead of strawberry. Whatever they cooked the pancakes on there was still grease from what ever they cooked prior to putting the pancakes on. Wasn’t a good first time experience ordering from them.
