JFK Terminal 8 Red Parking, Jamaica NY

Great Air train connection. Terrible queues at immigration officials. There are 3 counters open throughout the terminal where one plane lands after another.

The EZpass didn’t work when I was exiting the parking so I have to call the operator to pay for it

There are no seats in the check-in area and arrivals area. The Wi-Fi is of poor quality, airport employees working without uniforms and with an arrogant tone when speaking to us.
Unfortunate.

My experience at JFK Airport parking lot and their crossway was delightful. The spaciousness of the parking lot made it easy for me to locate my car without any hassle. I was pleased to find that the area wasn’t overly crowded, ensuring a stress-free departure.
The clear signage and well-marked signals further added to the convenience. Navigating my way to my vehicle and subsequently exiting the airport was a breeze. The airport staff has clearly put thought into making the process as smooth as possible for travelers.
A heartwarming highlight of my visit was meeting a friendly and adorable dog on my way to the parking lot. It brought a smile to my face and provided a moment of happiness during my travel experience.
My experience at JFK Airport’s parking lot and crossway was excellent. The combination of spaciousness, clear signage, and the unexpected joy of meeting a furry friend made it a memorable and positive experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling through JFK Airport.

Reviews for terminal 8 and its garage: first of all, the garage for airport should be connected directly to the terminal or elevators up to check in area right away. This garage is outside and you have to walk up and down, out and across street with your luggages and kids! Are you kidding me? This is NYC main airport and the design is TERRIBLE!
Second of all: passing thru the security is HORRIBLE. We had a business class and thought the process will be quicker and more organized BUT NO! I traveled alone with two young kids, carry-on and a stroller. They made me fold up my stroller and put it on a different x-ray machine than my luggage while my kids ran out because I had no hands! It was a mess. Why in the hell did they make me put stroller in another x-ray machine instead of the same one as everything else? !? !? Then, they lost one side of my kid's shoe in the machine! So, my kid had to walk around with one shoe for 29 hours of flights and connection!
The attitudes of staff were like they just woke up and didn't want to be there. Common! Find another job if you don't like the job. Seriously, this terminal needs a major management improvement ASAP! This airport is an embarrassment to the city!

Best way to connect from the airport to rental cars and the subway. Overall easy connections

TERRIBLE. Went there three times and when it was time to pay, their machine couldn't read the ticket. They have a push button for help and the person that spoke through the machine was rude and all three times I paid the same amount ($20.00) even though the time spent there were different. Ezpass was so much better.

This lot is much cheaper than the other terminal garages, and the airtrain takes you between terminals for free. It's much cleaner than the garage at Terminal 4, and it's well lit and safe. If you prebook parking at the website, it's quite affordable.

Parking is ok. Not much lightening and road not in great order. They are accepting only credit cards. Need to provide more options for payment like cash, not everyone has credit card.

I definitely recommend going to this parking spot at JFK. You have to prepay to get a spot but you can save some money by going to 8 instead of the terminal of your flight. We did that and took the Air train to terminal 8 parking from the terminal we landed at. With the air train, it makes it easy to park here.

The service cannot be called cheap, while there is essentially no service. You drive into the parking area and have to drive for 20-30 minutes in search of a parking space. Perhaps you need to make a light indication indicating where people should go and where there are free parking spaces, or invite several parking attendants to work, who will regulate the process.

I will say this place is clean and parking cost a fee it.s not real cheap. I think the airport it.self is awsome and big. I am only giving it 4 stars because of American Airlines has so many delays which my relative was delayed 12 hrs when I brought him there for 5 am to be on plane for 6 am to Lax in California. He did not get out of Jfk until 930pm at night that evening. People were sleeping in corners or near the rest room or near the entrance into the big part of the airport on each side of the doors. I don.t know why they delay so much and it.s not just AAL. S it.s other Airlines also just to be fair as it.s seems all airlines in this who country seems to have major delays. I don.t know is it because of lack of staffing for the planes or what? I ask if anyone can list reasons and what Airlines do think is good or worst? Please leave your comment. Very convenient parking with short walk to the terminal. Reserving and paying ahead of time saves on the daily fee.

Had plenty of parking available and highly convenient considering it's located right at the terminal. Although it was roughly $80 a day for parking. I felt secure knowing the vehicle would be safe, but on the other hand a bit pricey. Overall it was ok

They have wifi (unlike terminal 4) so that’s the most important thing for me as I need to contact my family members once I land (i’m coming from the UK). Immigration is also not too bad, lines may look long but the wait isn’t horrible. Probably max 30 mins from my experience. They have a lot of shops as well, even designer brands.

Spacious, well lit, parking garage & aisles clearly marked. Used as Terminal 1 overflow with free shuttle service back to terminal 1. Many, many, many airport workers on the sidewalks to direct you along to your next destination. The free shuttle service runs every 6 minutes. Luggage storage is accommodated in the middle of the shuttle bus behind double doors. Enjoy the ride!
