This place is the absolute best. Everything about Jim’s is why I will strictly only trust them with my business. Everyone who works here is an absolute delight, they are masters of their craft, get everything done quickly and efficiently, and they treat everyone like family. Morgan helped me across the country with a designer handbag repair, as well as a pair of louboutins that were a disaster. I shipped them to her, and she had them fixed and returned back to me in under two weeks. They are GOOD AS NEW! You will never need to go anywhere else with your belongings once you have found Jim’s!

Just simply amazing! John and CJ are the best. Had a crazy situation with my bag (interior) …they were able to clean out and looking brand new! I was so amazed! Customer service is outstanding. No wonder everyone raves about them! Also, pls buy their leather conditioner!

Condescending & just rude.

I came by earlier in the week to ask how much a shoe shine would be, the nice gentleman priced me $12.

I returned later on a Monday to ask if I can drop them off as I work in the building and would need them the next day & without even looking at the shoes the older gentleman says "NOT possible". OKAY.he then asks for the shoe & says "how much did you pay for these? It won't be worth it" WOW OK, perhaps let me make that decision?

He continues saying the shoes need the leather to be stripped, the heel to be replaced & a ton of uncalled for work. I simply just needed a shine. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Love the service and workmanship! Attention to detail in all their repairs is extraordinary. Over the years my husband nor I have ever felt hesitant to have any high end handbag, bag, wallet, sneakers or shoes repaired with Jim’s Shoe Repair and especially with John who is amazing! Jim's shoe repair does more than just shoe repair.
There is an old-school shoe shine in the lobby of Hudson Yards near the 33rd St.entrance.
They also rehabilitate pretty much any leather item: shoes, bags, coats, belts.
They are especially good at bringing luxury items back. I brought in a beat up Louis Vuitton bucket bag a few weeks ago and now it looks like new. I love it!

This place is a hidden gem in Hudson Yards. They did a great job on a bunch of shoes I dropped off. Excellent and friendly service. Definitely my shoe spot going forward. Thanks, John!
