J.J. Byrne Playground reviews
21Im from canarsie and i come to this park to bring my 2 year old autistic son. The kids in this neighborhood are so well behaved and playful. Definitely love this park! My son loves this park!
Love this place for kids. Went to school across the street many years ago. Its changed for the good. Nice sprinklers and playground. Very sunny so be prepared
Nice place for the kids to burn off some energy. Lots of shade and some tables to work remote, haha. Frozen yogurt, pizza, and gelato across the street.
Great playground. My son (8 y.o.) loves it. But some water toys (pump and water guns) are not working.
This playground has everything for kids to have fun. Additionally, there is a small museum and a garden. In the garden you could find berries, fruit and veggies. A lot of places to sit and relax.
The rocks are a little dangerous. Kids love to play on them and they get wet. Dangerous combo. Otherwise great. Not as nice as the playground at Sunset Park.
Amazing playground. Large and safe with areas for kids at different ages and water fountains in the summer. Also a great bar across the street for parents afterwards.
Spacious playground with swings, slides, sprinklers. Love the farmers market on weekends and the childrens Halloween parade!
Kids of all ages will enjoy this park including adults! So much to do here they even have a museum! How cool is that!
If there was ever such a thing as a "destination playground, " then this is it. Super fun, lots of varied structures, and the adjoining field for sports and general running around makes it one of the best playgrounds I've been to. And sadly, I really know city playgrounds.
Love it, Because it's not overly crowded. The only thing bothers me are the rocks at the splash pad. Dangerous!
Great park with a nice field in the back. It has wide open sections for both younger and older kids, and also water sprayers for those hot summer days. Nearby are plenty of choices for food and drink.
Nice place for the kids to run around for an hour. Would be nice not to have the rocks around the water area.
It was great overall but for kids it is very violent a lot of curse words. Also is looks like a place where high school students hang out.
This is probably the kids favorite playground. It is very spacious. There is room for Baseball, Soccer, football, numerous basketball and Handball courts, bike and skater ramps, a smaller playground for younger children, a larger one for big kids, sprinklers in the summer, things to climb, swings, tons of seating for parents, clean restrooms. Just an exceptional Playground.
Great if you're a kid. Bad if you're a dog. Busy on weekends with all the park slope kids hustling the playground.
Great place for kids! What we like about this place is that they have several sections. One is for bigger kids and another for smaller kids.and there is a water park.
Bathrooms are getting cleaner. Why'd they cut down all the big trees on the south side? The Old Stone House is slouch a lovely centerpiece to this park.
Not too fond of it.to big and some of the nannies are not friendly not enough padding for the kiddos
This is not just an excellent place to hang out and climb intricate structures, but also a park where wildlife thrives. There is also a turf outback the old stone house, which is an old fashoined, beautiful, stone house, that is perfect for soccer, football, and baseball. Ms51 students are allowed to spend their lunches here.
