Cautionary warning for those with tight schedules!

We placed an order one month ago, expecting it to be shipped within the usual 8 - 20 days as promised. However, much to our dismay, the order has not been shipped yet, causing us significant inconvenience. We have had to halt all our plans and wait for them to resolve the issue. According to them, some parts were damaged, resulting in a delay of an additional 2 - 8 days for completion.

For those seeking to expedite the entire process, an option is available to accelerate it by paying an additional $1000.

We ordered newel posts and spindles for a stair remodel. When the posts arrived, they were the wrong wood (red oak instead of poplar). When the new posts arrived, one was damaged. When the spindles arrived, they were the wrong product. Lots of delays. The products are adequate, but the fulfilment and customer service was awful.

JMP Wood has been fantastic to work with. Kevin was able to walk me through step by step on my order over the phone to ensure my order was exactly what we needed. He also went above and beyond to ensure my delivery was delivered in time for install. He also was able to help make recommendations to my contractor and I when it came to the install. It was a great experience and I absolutely would use them again!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. When I first called asking when the order was going to ship, they lied. They delayed my shipment by a week. Then their freight shipping scheduled a delivery window and DID NOT SHOW UP. They did not communicate the delivery would not be arriving. No call, no email, zero communication. Outrageous costs to ship the order and this poor service is unacceptable. I had to call and fight through customer service to get answers. Since it was their fault I asked if they could receive our delivery the next morning. Your address is in our 12-5pm zone, they said. I told them they messed up the order the previous day with a NO SHOW. Absolutely horrible experience, never order from JMP WOOD. They don't respond to emails or concerns. Terrible experience all around. Maybe the worst from any company I've ever purchased from.

We received the four Newel Post tops on our order on Friday the 27th. We modified them by trimming off the bottom wood extension and replacing it with a Hanger Bolt (wood screw threads on one end and machine screw threads on the other end of the bolt)

The machine screw portion matched the size of the “nut” pattern in the posts of our bed. The bed had originally been a “4-poster” but over time we had found that brushing into the posts loosened them and they were more of an impediment that an asset.

A after finishing the JMP post tops with a clear polyurethane coating, we screwed them into the locations that had held the tall bed posts.

We are very pleased with your products. The post tops have made a great addition to our bedroom.
