21 One star only for amazing& delicious sandwich. Staff is so rude. When you enter caffe - it feels like you r not welcome at all.
I saw a lot of reviews about stuff, but why are you guys doing nothing with it?
Came here on a Sunday afternoon. I was told upon entering there was going to be a wait because it was backed up with online orders. I wasn t sure if that meant they couldn’t take my order now or that there would be a wait once they took it. But there was a very nice and helpful girl there with pink hair who was not frazzled and very accomodating. Miniature cake loaf was good, coffee ok.
I found this place almost 3years. They were Amazing through Covid. Had the most Courteous diversive staff. Very clean and calm atmosphere.
I ordered through DoorDash and my order did not come complete. I did receive a refund and just ordered again because delivery was already pretty quick. This location sent me what I ordered the first and second time with a sweet note taking accountability and even added a sweet treat for me! We all make mistakes but it’s how we recover amazing customer service and staff, a spicy tuna made my day lol.
2 ladies don’t have any customers and I’m still waiting for my order while they are chatting and changing music on a iPad. Update I got my sandwich and it’s so salty. She drenched my sandwich in pesto or something. Worst location
I can't believe I just paid $14 for blended ice with a watered down hint of vegetable juice.
Who blends ice into a green juice?

Worst experience I’ve ever had. The store was dirty and the drinks were awful. The light skin girl with pink hair is rude and has a nasty attitude. It’s one thing to have a dirty store but another to have terrible staff. She just made my whole experience worst
Dude can’t even make a power shake correctly. I have an ice slushy in my hands w bits of avocado visibly inside of it and on the cup (after 15 minutes of waiting).
The staff put the most minimum amount of effort in handing you your shake in a timely manner. Very poor Service not because they’re understaffed, just they don’t care
I really wish there was a Joe & the Juice in Long Island. I am contemplating making a trek into the city just for another juice and tunacado sandwich.
The worst location in NYC, extremely slow service with wait times about 10-20 mins for a shake. Consistently poor quality with then not even preparing the items that you asked for- with 0 consideration for allergies.
Stay far away from this place
I hate writing not-so-good reviews. It started with them only able to take cash only. Okay.machines break. I get it. Fortunately, I did have some cash.
I ordered a juice and was then told they ran out of cucumbers. I get the carrot, apple, ginger instead, along with my Tunacado with Jalapeños.
The sandwich was all bread. Perhaps they ran out of tuna too. I don't know.there was so little tuna on it. Whatever. I'll just enjoy my Jalapeños and tomatoes that's on the sandwich. Maybe there was a Jalapeño shortage too because the server only put 4.: -/
NOW.here's the disgusting part. I get to the bottom of my juice and get something that feels weird come through the straw. It did not feel like pulp. IT WAS A FINGERNAIL! I was driving and when I picked it off my tongue on reflex I just threw it out the window. I was GAGGING! I know I'm not going to die.it's just THE THOUGHT someone's FINGERNAIL was in my mouth. I'm still kinda traumatized. I was already almost home and couldn't turn back.especially since i threw the evidence out the window.
This was my FIRST EVER time at this place and I was excited after hearing so much about it. Definitely a fail for me. I'll try a different location in the DISTANT future.
Update: they emailed me and told me they know it wasn't a fingernail that it was just fruit. Sooooo.as you can see the low ratings from myself and others is justified.
Vibes are always great at J &J and I got the best value for my money here with a large matcha latte for $6.26. But the AC was blasted so high I was frozen. I couldn’t feel my fingers after an hour that I had to leave. I asked them to lower it but no help.
Had the most disappointing experience today at this location. After placing our orders and waiting for 25-30 minutes, I got up to check on my order and it seemed like the man at the counter was having an altercation with another customer. I was simply waiting behind her to ask about my order and was told to move aside, I hadn’t even spoken to him! He rudely told me “can you please please move aside, that’ll make my life easier right now! ”. All done and said, he messed up all three of my sandwiches unfortunately. Ordered 3 spicy tuna sandwiches with avocado, there wasn’t any avocado on any of the sandwiches.
I want to their last week and the guy who work that he was nasty. I’m bad attitude he want to give me a sandwich without posted because he said the toast was close.
I’m usually the customer that stays quiet. But this place has habitually prepped my avocado sandwich incorrectly. When I pay for extra avocado, they serve you the same or less of the normal serving. They overcook your toast and today the presentation was just way below average (wrapper all undone).
When you pay for extra protein on your power shake, they’ll deliver a shake that taste purely like milk. FAR FROM SAVORY!
You’re better off making the sandwich /shake at home, folks.

I ordered something from here and I said no mozzarella cheese but was given cheese. I couldn’t even eat it I wanted to call to tell them and try to get a refund but it seems there is no number? I am not sure how else to contact
It is the worst location I have ever been to. There are 6 people behind the counter during busy lunch hour. But 4 of them are chatting away. 1-only 1-is making sandwiches at a LEISURELY pace. It’s such poor management. Only go here if you are prepared for the frustrating wait.
Even if you place an order online 15 minutes before you arrive, it will still take another 30 minutes for it to be ready (the staff actually said that, rudely). And if you order on the all you cannot cancel so you either lose your money or lose half your day waiting.
Panda bears would give you better service than the actual staff in here. Horrible - don’t waste your time
