They don’t take card but do have an ATM Cashier had and attitude, fries were delicious but cold, burger was ok waited and hour for 4 burger and 4 fries for take out

Food is always great at this place but service was horrible on my last visit.
The lady at front was mean and having a very uncomfortable attitude.
I asked to get something extra on my order and instead of telling me in a nice way that they don’t have it. This woman was making fun of me with the other employees. This is completely disgusting.

I walked by this establishment many times and the lines were always out the door way out to the sidewalk and now I see why the food here is phenomenal.

Really great food and ice cream. They have a lot of homemade flavors that are all very delicious. The service was great and atmosphere was very family friendly. P. S they only take cash no card but no worries there’s an ATM in there which is convenient!

Typical American food place. Chicken nuggets with fries.fish and fries.delicious.hamburgers.and homemade ice cream.has outdoor seating.it's the only place open until late good to go in a group

Great spot. We got the Big John’s burger, cheeseburger, bacon chicken ranch, large soda and a pineapple dole whip. Photos might look small but it was enough for two adults.

Everything tasted delicious.

Tip- 1) Bring cash. 2) go early, the line for lunch was ok but dinner time to closing, there was always a line out the door. Also less parking.
3) when you get your food, make sure you check. They go names.

Amazing for allergy’s and everything great people and atmosphere live for this place. Great job you guys need to come here you won’t regret it

When you wanna pay they have cash only and they have an ATM machine inside is like they taking your money from you with your eyes open

Kids love the ice cream and the dole whip was great as a non dairy option! They also have a bean burger for those who don't eat meat.

My John’s burger was delicious and so were my onion rings. Burger came with special sauce.

Me and my family have been coming to John’s ever since my eldest daughter was just 4 years old, it is truly one of Montauk’s original businesses, and I hope it stays for the rest of my days! Haha, see what I did there, “stays” and “days” rhyme

Ordered cheese burger and clams with fries. Quality of foods and services are good. Dinning environment is clean.

We've been going here for years & years (over 30) and the food and ice cream are amazing!

The girl behind the counter on Monday at 7 pm made two cones for me. I had a 20 dollar bill and a ten dollar. I know for certain because before I went in I had a 20 dollar and my husband said take another ten just in case. I had money on counter because she handed the first cone and she put the money up there but said I only gave her 20 dollar. Clearly she’s a thief. I guess if she has to cheat people to get her tip it’s sad. Just be weary. She must be used to people not paying attention but I know 100 percent that I had 30 dollars going in there. Just beware.

Terrible service. They got nasty when asked to try a flavor. It’s an ice cream place get over yourself
