John's Of Arthur Avenue reviews
12I ordered online and an extra pizza was added by mistake. I immediately called the restaurant and was told 'take it up with the app, we can't refund you. ' I had been sent an email from 'John's of Arthur Ave', I was directed to their site to place the order, and on the email verification it says call the restaurant for any help. I asked if they would cancel the order and the charge and I will re-order, again was told 'not our problem'. When I looked back at the email I realized it came from CHOW NOW - there is no way to call them - they are California based and you have to email. I emailed support and someone did respond and asked for the case number but nothing else. The food did arrive, but late and cold - I guess this was John's employees way of 'sticking it to the customer'. This is also the last time I will be ordering from them or going to the restaurant. You win John's - thanks for being an A**$% about it. All I wanted was some help in removing an unintended item that was ordered and you decide to deliver cold, late food - awesome!
In the end, after 4 days of trying to get resolution, ChowNow said the restaurant would NOT refund the money for the mistakenly ordered pizza. Seriously? ! Your staff tells me minutes after I realized what had happened, that they CANNOT do anything about it and I will be charged, regardless. That I must take it up with the website. The website tells me they will not refund because the restaurant refuses to. So in the end, it was YOUR CALL. Hope it was worth it, you have lost a customer who did order from you, but after this B. S. Frank's Pizza will get all my business. Thanks!
John's of Arthur Avenue is a great pizzeria that has delicious pizza and menu selection. Our food for tonight included Fried Zucchini Sticks that were crisp and flavorful. Our Eggplant Personal Pizza was comforting and satisfying in taste. The grilled Salmon entree sat on a bed of julienne sliced fresh vegetables that were cooked to perfection. Truly a scrumptious meal! The bonus here was the live entertainment by Robbie Rigo. He is quite the talent with a guitar and has played a variety of music from the 1950s forward. No matter your age, he will have your feet dancing like your tummy eating here!
“Juan’s of Westchester Ave”
Food sucks, service sucks, English sucks.
I wouldn’t be able to get a job at
La Pupusa loca, or Brisa Marina, but I am “privileged” to deal with the half illiterate and insolent B. S.from this phony facade of an Italian restaurant- funny how that works, isn’t it?
And the slogan on your boxes- “Making pizza is the same location for over 35 years”
Yeah right- you’re not P&D, you’ll never be P&D, you couldn’t even measure up as a pale comparison.
Great food. Comfortable atmosphere. Attentive waiters and waitresses. Pleasurable dining experience. Highly recommended
The pizza isn't cheap but it is pretty good. The people who work there are very friendly and aim to please however.
Chicken roll was delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it’s a tad expensive for a pizzeria.
This Restaurant is competing for the WORST Buffalo wings, we ordered for Super Bowl, never again, pizza is ok.
Great little place for a quick slice or two. Delicious and tasty pizza crust. Generous sized slice and get this No SOGGY bottom. Nice to have pizza that doesn't droop like the old bent carrot on that commercial. Hubby and I like the taste of the crust which is not something we find that often. Tasty not doughy and delicious. A great choice for pizza today!
Worst pizza I have ever had. Burnt bottom and sauce was so sour. We left the rest of the pie there. Disgusting. How is this place open or even have any good reviews. They should take the Arthur Avenue name off of this place.
Pizza is pretty good.
For some reason there is a noticeable flavor difference between the Large Pizza Pie vs the Pizza sold by the slice. Maybe it's as simple as the doe being rolled out thinner causing a little more char? But I thought it was worth the mention.
Place is nice but when the pizzeria is not closed until 3 hours and not have pizza. It's a turn off unless you buying q pie. So available pizza in display is limited and perhaps has less traffic because u don't have anything to offer aside from a bulk order.
