Johny's Luncheonette reviews
12Perfect place for a quick breakfast. Portion sizes were perfect and service is very quick. Definitely would recommend for a place to have breakfast and would come back again.
Loved their lumberjack special! Good customer service and clean space. I would definitely recommend. Love the old-fashioned atmosphere
All of the employees are extremely pleasant and helpful. We'll return to taste their brunch the next day!
Perfect egg on roll, first morning in NYC. Great coffee. Coming back for pancakes Monday.
Actually came back three times and had the Lumberjack too.
He was very nice and took care if all of us we had just gotten to New York for the first time and we were all hungry and tired!
Casual, friendly breakfast diner. Felt like an authentic experience for an NYC breakfast. Food was good.
Got the egg white vegetable wrap. No spinach added when the menu mentioned it. Not worth the $7 (with seamless taxes). I didn’t contact the restaurant about the issue though. Didn’t have the time to go back to the restaurant. But they should get their order/ingredients right the first time. Especially when it was not busy at all during the time I picked up the order. Will give the restaurant another try though since it has many good reviews.
Excellent banana pancakes. Food is cooked right in front of you. Intimate atmosphere with limited seating.
The cook needs to add a little more love to the food, love what you do. Was my 2nd choice but reviews got me to go. Even speaking Spanish he was and I get it you work all day cooking, be friendly makes they day go by smoother
I was here this week visiting from Los Angeles California. I took my sister and mom for breakfast. The 3 guys working were very nice and the breakfast was amazing! The best breakfast in New York City! Next time I come, I for sure will come back to this place!
Breakfast was super basic, you get it as is, no requests. Fairly long wait (20 minutes to get in the door at 10: 30 on a Saturday) for nothing special.
