Truly beautiful beaches. It's especially nice to go in the off season to enjoy the boardwalk.

Loved the interactive Energy and visitor center, which is run by a great staff of volunteers

Didn't really get to see or be on the beach. I was at the Magic Lights event. It was beautiful. There was a lot to see. The lights truly filled the night. Loved the s'mores, puppy and Santa exhibits when you stopped midway, if you decided to enter the "village". Can't wait to see what they do next year.

We went to see the Magic Lights presentation on Dec 26th. Traffic was absolutely horrible - practically at a stand still. Our GPS said we had 45 minutes to go to get to the starting point. We turned around and went home. My grandson cried all the way he was so disappointed. Wish they could come up with a better way to deal with all traffic.

Jones Beach is always my 1st choice for a quick weekend outing.
Clean and maintained well. Sand is clean and you don't find garage laying around.
Lots of parking. But extremely busy in season months.
Pool is great option if beach is not your thing. Plenty of bathrooms.
Be prepared for long lines in and out of beach. They hold concerts and events as well.
A true Gem for us new Yorkers to enjoy the beach.

We went for the light show. The wait time inline was about 80-90 minutes and the lights were not very good this year.

I’ve only gone to this beach off season but really enjoy the spaciousness and cleanliness. Would love to bring my bike here at some point!

Went to see the Magic Light show. Very well put together for a drive-thru with the kids. Souvenir "shop" had Santa hats and necklaces with lights (at the end). Buy beforehand online.

The way to get to the beach along with the walk up to the shore was longgggggg and they didn't have a way to wash off the ocean water and sand from your body, I thought that was a crazy seeing how they have a pool house and bathroom

Even in the brutal winter cold, as beautiful as I remember it from going there as a child.

Good old Jones Beach. No commercial buildings, no high rise apartments. Milees of beach, like it oughta be. No place like it.

**Magic of Lights**
Good Light show, but unfortunately they have added greed to the display. This show began as a $10-13 per car load. With little change to the display it is now $40 per car load. Mind you this is a corporate sponsored event by multiple vendors. Our family/friends have gone almost every yr, but I think now was our swan song. Thank you for making the holidays about money.again.

The beach is clean and the air is sweet. The best time of year is the Fall when it is not crowded.
