JOOY TEA SHOPPE reviews
13The truffle fries are delicious! The food in general is very good and for a fair price. The workers are very nice and the food gets done fast. The interior is very nice as well.
Did not follow instructions for my order. Refused to remake it when they really should have confirmed from the start. Rude staff when it was not packed and I was the only person. I should have walked. For nearly twenty dollars, not worth it - I'm going to T-Baar for my tea and literally anywhere else like Vivi's for food.
Just orderd the drinks. Everything was orderly and quite quickly made. Tasted like usual jooy brand drinks. The store's design and atmosphere is great for those looking to sit down to chat, a space for a bit of noise to work in. They do tend to get busy with large orders every once a while.
Been waiting for 40mins and they told me it’s already done. I know I missed the called but why can’t they just remind me again.
I don't venture often in Bensonhurst but I ran into this spot since I was craving bubble tea. The place is pretty, spacious and clean. They had a variety of specialty flavors. I felt adventurous enough to get the lychee dragon fruit tea which was really good. They use fresh ingredients and service was amazing. I would come back again and try the other flavors.
This is honestly the best boba I’ve ever had by far. This place deserves a lot better recognition. It’s truly an amazing experience to come here.
Got 3 bubble teas, passion fruit, jasmine rose and brown sugar. Brown sugar was a bit sweet but I forgot to tell them to have lower sugar. All very good, and they got them done in less than 3 mins
I don’t get the hype for this place. Yes the place is very aesthetic. However, the food and drinks doesn’t compensate for it. I got the combo B with fried chicken sandwich, fried calamari and mango pomelo for almost $18 after tax I believe. Let’s start with the drink since it is a tea shop after all. It was nice that the drink was made with fresh fruit but the mango is not sweet at all. My drink was sour and so warm which made it worse. I wouldn’t get it again. As for the chicken sandwich the flavors were okay but it had “a lot of MSG. ” I ordered for lunch so for the rest of day I was feeling very thirsty and not well. I didn’t have appetite for dinner. The fried calamari tasted okay but it barely had any calamari; instead it had a lot of batter which made it really crunchy. The sauce that came with it is the same as the sauce in the sandwich which is a similar version of the chik fila sauce.
The creme brulee milk tea is not bruleed. It is just cream on top. It is not toasted to perfection like it is in the picture. I even explained. Why do we use french words on a menu and not understand the implication of using them when providing a service?
Compared to other more expensive bubble tea shops in the area, the tea they give you is inexpensive, high quality, and delicious. It helps that the store is clean and spacious, and has a quiet atmosphere comparable to a Starbucks. Highly recommend.
Literally the best boba place I've ever been too, the menu is small but sweet, and even though the wait time was really long, the drinks were worth it.
They have wifi, outlet and nice space here to work. The drink is tasty and price decent. Best Jooy location I’ve been so far!
Great for the price, burgers were small but good. Do not get the honey garlic wings! They do not come sauced.they're plain with sauce on the side.the honey garlic sauce is literally chunky garlic with honey.not dippable.
The calamari was good and seasoned just like popcorn chicken
