Great school. I have two children enrolled from last September. Excellent teachers. They are all very devoted to students. In-person interview was required before school offered us the chance to enroll my children. Definitely the best school in the Long Island area for piano, violin and cello students.

I love Joyous Music School. What a great place for children who are passionate about music to study. I learned how to play the piano as a young child, I wish I had this kind of the environment. I am truly very happy that my kids have the opportunity to learn in this school. One is taking piano lessons with Ms. Mintra, one is taking violin lessons with Dr. Seo. Besides private lessons, Joyous also offers music theory, ear-training, chorus, chamber music, orchestra, dance and acting classes. My favorite one is performance class. This class teaches student how to perform on stage, developes student's confidence, artistry and stage presence. It is usually held in the Joyous Flushing campus or Albertson campus. Each year, Joyous Music School holds regular appearances in prestigeous venues such as Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center and Lincoln Center. Joyous holds its Carnegie Hall concert for the 15th year consecutively which is amazing for any school to do. Joyous also invites Pultizer winning artist, faculty members from Yale and Harvard University to give master classes which gives students a great opportunity to meet some of the best music educators in the nation. Overall, I strongly recommend this music school.

I have been thoroughly impressed with this music school, and I have to say that I specially liked the monthly performance classes in the school. They also provided my son with the incredible opportunity to perform on famous venues, and these experiences have not only given him confidence but also fostered a deep love for music. The dedicated instructors and comprehensive curriculum at this school have helped him grow as a musician, and I couldn't be happier with the progress he's made.

My kids have been with Joyous Music School ever since they were 4 years old, it has been an incredible place for my children ‘s musical journey. Joyous Music School is the best music school in Queens and Long Island. They have three branches—Syosset, Albertson and Flushing. Each location is run by accomplished music directors such as SONY-BMG recording artists, accomplished concert pianists, conductors and award winning composers. Joyous offers private lessons in piano, violin, viola, cello and bass. My 5-yr-old son has been taking private music classes there for the past year. He’s had so much fun since he started. Besides individual instruction, Joyous also offers chamber music, orchestra, theory, sight-singing, art, dance and theater class. It’s a very enriching environment for children of all levels and backgrounds. I strongly recommend them!

I 100% recommend this music school. My son has been taking piano and violin lessons there for four to five years now. He also has been a member in their Orchestra for four years.
The piano teacher that was assigned to him is very nice, patient and passionate during their lessons. For instance, when he was little, his hand wasn’t big enough to reach the exact notes. She would change the song so that it would be easier for him to play. She understands him, enriches his knowledge, makes him love music and build up his confidence. Every annual concert, I can see an improvement in him as he grows more comfortable and confident in playing both piano and violin. I am very thankful to all faculty members in Joyous Music School.

Love Joyous’ piano and string program. School focuses on developing student’s unique musical language by cultivating their ability to communicate through music. Advance students can attend group class such as chamber music, orchestra and performance class. Each year, Joyous produces up to 50 performance including venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Barclays Center, Madison Square Garden and Times Square. Joyous students have been featured in shows such as ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC’s Today Show and FOX News. This is the place for great music education.

This school offers great program for piano, violin, viola, cello and bass lessons for students. My children love to go to lessons every week. They are so excited to perform in Carnegie Hall in December. This year's concert will feature both the children orchestra and faculty chamber orchestra. Recently, there is a new school opened close to Garden City. Very convenient for Long Island students.

One of the best music schools in Long Island and Queens. I have been taking violin lessons with Dr. Seo and Dr. Dumitrascu for 3 years now. I love everything about the school. Professional, friendly staff. Great orchestra program. All of my teachers helped me to improve my skills as a violinist and to love music. I am very grateful that I have a chance to study in this school.

Great school! My son is currently taking piano lessons with Dr. Lee. Very professional environment. This is the only school in Long Island that offers Performance Class, Chamber Music and Orchestra class to piano students. It is great to see my son performing with violin, viola and cello students together. It is also very inspiring for him to perform with some of the most gifts violinist and cellist each week. We are looking forward to this year's annual recital at Carnegie Hall on December 9.
