JT’s Restaurant, Buffalo NY

My first time. Was great to go out for a real dinner out. Visiting NY from CA, and this was also first time out at a restaurant without a mask. Not to diminish the experience, the whole thing was outstanding. The service was excellent- young guy was knowledgeable and patient. Cocktails were great, and the menu extensive. The meal was just what was hoped for.

Nice place, really good service. Had 4 different pizza's, Italian sausage and Steak were very good. A little over-priced but would recommend.

Went for a Sunday brunch and waited over an hour for our food. If it was not for the wait this would have been a 4-star raiting.

Eggs-Benedict were good but as other said, quite pricey for what you get.

First time here for a family gathering of 15 and short time span in which to eat and they did a remarkable job, food was good and service was outstanding. Looks like it could be a fun place in the later hours

I’m absolutely shocked by how expensive the resurgent was. Atmosphere was beautiful I give you that... But come on the price that high... Not worth it going back again.

A very good classy, dark, modern Italian spot. I went here for my birthday 2 years ago. The brick oven pizza and the filet mignon were excellent.

Atmosphere, menu, food very good. Service needs, needs some help! My friend made it abundantly clear that she wanted only 1 glass wine when our server offered the "hafer". I chose the "haver". We waited quite a while to get our drinks and he brought her the "hafe" any way. She eventually accepted it, reluctantly (it should have been compt) but left us wondering this isn't a way to "up" a check.so be ware. Also extreamly long time to get our bill. It was no overly busy. All in all I'm sure we will return, but prepared to hold staff accountable if not listening.

The food is here is amazing. I am talking to you about amazing in a way you must try and taste for yourself.some places are 5 stars before even wrote the first word. JTS is one of them.

Had a tremendous dinner here and everyone in our party of four loved their meal. Portions are very large so be prepared to take some of the pasta home with you! In a town where there are numerous Italian restaurants this one is one of the best (IMO). It also has other items such as pizza, steak, chicken, and fish. The only disappointment we had at our table was the Corn Chowder with Lobster and Fennel (too much fennel and not enough lobster or corn). Nice wine list and bar area. Atmosphere is great as well, especially when they can open up the dining room to the open air.

This restaurant gave me FOOD POISONING and then called my boyfriend a LIAR when he called them about it. If you would like to spend your Valentine's Day evening OUTSIDE of the bathroom, do not go there for dinner. Shame too, the waiter was really very nice.

Driver was very polite and efficient. Got the order correctly and there were no hiccups.

Would absolutely recommend again. Not sure if the pizza’s good though, haven’t tasted it.

Wasn’t able to confirm the driver’s name but I think it was Justin. He’s the real MVP!

I have been to JT’s several times. I find the servers to be friendly and efficient most of the time. Sometimes we wait forever to get a drink. One time dinner was absurdly late. Finally our meals came out except for the person who was just being served their appetizer after the rest of us had long finished ours. Don’t usually ask to talk to the manager anywhere but we did that night. As we explained the situation he was defensive and kind of nasty. When they’re on they’re on but when they’re not, watch out. BUT, we still go there occasionally as it is in walking distance from home. Again, kudos to the servers and the food is really good. Finally though, the prices are ridiculously high.

Normally I am raving about the food but this time around it was just ok. 1st Cinnabon came out cold second hot but hard. The eggs Benedict was on a hard English muffin most of the food was moderately warm to cold. My turkey sausage Ciambatta was gross. The service was very very slow. All covid protocol was good, we felt safe and sanitary but the food was a bust this time.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in the Elmwood! We were looking for indoor or outdoor dining w more air/ventilation during covid times and JTs was the spot! High ceilings and canvas front cover make it slightly breezier than other eateries. The chicken liver pate appetizer was generous and incredible, as well as the clam dinner bowl. The apple crumble was also over the top delicious w a big scoop of ice cream. Our server was friendly and perfectly attentive.

Place has great atmosphere, amazing food and drinks PLUS the best staff you'll find anywhere in Buffalo. A must go if you're around town!

My top place for delicious Italian food. Honestly my favorite evening place. The service was very kind and attentive. The bill was reasonable I would say. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

Excellent wine selection, and great food options. I've ordered the shrimp spaghetti twice and it was delicious both times. It's huge though, so I recommend ordering it with an extra side of shrimp to bring home for seconds.

Be careful on the chairs. They're super slippery on the floor and if you sit too close to the front edge, they will fly out from under you. It happened to two members of my party and the staff confirmed it is a common occurrence. Surprising they haven't been dealt with yet as it's definitely a liability.
