As a big coffee lover. I was dissapointed. One of the worst coffees I've ever tried.super bitter and tasteless

Literally the WORST experience I have ever had in NYC. As a gay person, I feel the Indian guy in the register made me feel unwelcomed. I came to this “shop” for three mornings in a row. The first green smoothie I had was TRASH. I literally trashed it because it had the worst understate. I went back the next morning and selected “build my own, ” and started adding what I usually put in MY green smoothie, green apples, BANANA, spinach, celery, and ginger.
Given that I am paying $15 for a build-your-own smoothie, I felt like it was a reasonably easy order to make. To my surprise, the Indian guy said, “DON’T DO ITTT, don’t do banana, ” I explained to him that I am Colombian and have a more tropical taste than he probably had seen. He agrees after multiple attempts from me to explain why I wanted banana in my green smoothie (?). I came back in the evening, around 5: 40 PM, and asked for the same drink. His “assistant, ” which I doubt is his official job title, starts complaining in their little language about adding a banana to my smoothie after I paid, of course. The experience was so negative, and I felt so bad that I felt the need to speak up for myself once again, and let the Indian guy that I have never felt this judged and bad for asking for a simple banana in the “build-my-own” section, I promised I would dispute my charge, and leave. WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. MOST JUDGY VIBE FROM THE GUY “IN CHARGE. ”

The juices were not all fresh and they use bottled ingredients for 11 bucks I could of made this at home more fresh. Also when I walked in the staff did not seem enthusiastic and they didn't seem like true health enthusiasts. The juice had very little orange juice and the lemon was not fresh and over powering. None of this they told me before I ordered.

Highly disappointed.

First time will be the last. Ordered a hummus sandwich with GF bread. Saw the bread, knew it wasn't GF. Asked, this is really GF? They said yessssss. So I ate half. But my Spidey sense said nooooooo. I asked to see the package. It was Bob's bread. I told them, this isn't gluten free, I'm going to get sick! They said nothing. Blank stares. I said, do you understand what gluten is? BLANK STARES. NO ENGLISH. This is an organic food place. So disappointed.

If somebody wants to get pure organic and super clean place, an amazing taste I will recommend juice and joy bcoz they are dealing with superfoods. I personally love JOY to PROTEINS with serotonin boost, it always makes me happy. Thank you for the supportive and kind staff.

Second time I’ve been here that the employees don’t clean their hands or use gloves before touching produce. This worker was outside smoking a cig, came back inside to make my drink since no one was in the store, didn’t wash his hands or put gloves on. Disgusting. I emailed the store and no replies. Dirty. Don’t go here. No one cares. No cleanliness.

I absolutely love this place. I get my coffee here literally every day - they have lots of amazing options for smoothies, juices, and healthy snacks. Probably the only place in the area where you can get specialized health ingredients. The staff is AMAZING. Kahn and Azim are absolutely wonderful, efficient and friendly - every time I come in they make it feel like home. It’s also a great place if you need to sit and get some work done. Highly recommend, thank you for all you do!

I was with my husband and my friend in this place, the man was very kind.the tea and juices were super delicious
