I have nothing but praise to offer concerning my experience with Dr Nam and her staff.
I recommend them without reservation. Dr Nam is extremely capable, thorough and considerate.

Not sure if it's a one off thing, but my experience is certainly not what I expected with the 5.0 reviews I read before. We waited for 50mins and Dr. Nam only spent less than 10mins for my daughter's eye checkup. My daughter is short sighted, and I expected her to have a thorough check up and give us a detailed recommendation of the treatment. Instead, she checked her eye sights quickly, and then jumped right into conclusion without much explanation. She didn't check other parts of the eye as part of the annual checkup at all. She left the room even without us getting all the proper records.

As always, Dr. Nam was incredibly helpful and, no pun intended, patient with my son. The support staff at the W 72nd Office were all extremely kind, helpful, and efficient. I would recommend anyone in the NYC area with pediatric needs to immediately book an appointment, as the secret is out and you may wait a month.

Oh My Goodness! I can see! Dr. Nam ROCKS! I am 72 and found myself having double vision at distance. I went to two ophthalmologists and neither one could help me. I got a referral to Dr. Nam and she diagnosed me as having strabismus within 5 minutes. I knew I was with a consummate professional and after a short time testing me and trying different prisms the double vision was gone.

That's not the best part. She explained every little nuance of prism lenses; how to test first with appliqués and gauge adaptation before ordering lenses and providing guidance on ordering lenses from reputable labs.it is so gratifying to find a doctor who really digs deep to get the right solution. I live in NJ and had to travel to NYC but it was totally worth it. The office is beautiful and the staff was excellent in every respect.

Don't even think about going anywhere else.
