Caribbean Restaurant Jungle reviews
16 I held my daughter's baptism luncheon here and from the moment we walked in, my guest and I were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was impeccable, but the star of the show was the food. Every dish we had was outstanding! From the appetizers to the main course, to the standout Sorrel Cheesecake! I highly recommend!
The food, service, and the ambiance 10 out of 10!
The food here was amazing. The service was great. Meal was fresh when ordered. For the first time in a long time I have zero complaints. This was perfection. Even the volume of the music was perfect. Will definitely revisit this place. My daughter had the chicken and waffles and she loved it.
Ordered on Uber eats. I ordered the plantain rolls, chili wings and a side of Rasta pasta. I had to come leave a review. The food was fresh and so delicious. Yum yum yum.
Just had a Sunday dinner that was superb.pasta with oxtails and spring rolls with plantains.hmmm.
First off lemme just start by saying this restaurant is exactly what it states in the title, “Authentic Caribbean Cuisine”! Secondary, the customer service here from both owners and the husband being the chef, wife is the hostess are both beyond engaging, informative, super friendly, charismatic and both know how to operate a business to the highest degree. Thirdly, the food here is awesome, so fresh, delicious, seasoned to perfection, I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to all my friends and family. I’ve actually recommended this spot to one of my closet while me and my beautiful wife Janice sat and celebrated my birthday. I loved my experience here and intend on coming again. This review is supported by Janice and Jeptha regular folk that enjoy food and know how to cook ourselves. Come through and experience what we have!
Very unprofessional! They ran out of food I ordered a full meal did not get the meal and still got charged full price. Would never eat here again.
The ambiance was inviting with a pleasant, welcoming staff. We had a plethora of Jamaican dishes. The food presentation was delightful. The steamed snapper, the Jerk chicken pasta, the Jerk steak, the curried shrimp, the ackee, and the green plantain was delicious! The plantain spring rolls were delectable. There was also generous sides of rice and peas and cabbage. Then there was the scrumptious dessert of fruitcake! The downside which seems to be a consistent criticism - is the lack of prompt service.
Tahirah and her husband have a wonderful restaurant. Everything was a reflectuin of excellence in every way.
The service was great, went there for my anniversary, they even gave us a slice of cake free. Food was good also, except I wanted jerk chicken the spicy kind but they have the sweet barbecue kind, other than that overall great.
Mt. Vernon's best kept secret! Everything was great from the atmosphere and music (it's a vibe!) to the service. My meal, Jungle Pasta and glazed salmon was scrumptious. The portions are generous. I'll definitely return soon.
Had an event here and this family was so amazing. Thank you so much for hosting us on 02/18
Wonderful lunch. Delicious jerk chicken, rice and peas and salad.
Looking forward to my next lunch with wild Salmon.
We had a wonderful time, the food was good and the service was great. Great atmosphere and friendly service. The story behind the restaurant tells a lot about why it's so cozy and the food so good.
Just ordered three meals and two patties. We devoured it all! Delicious flavor. Good customer service.
The ambiance is an amazing blend of cuisine, melodious reggae and a modernistic rustic design accented with pictures of Reggae King Bob Marley
