Juniper Valley Park reviews
20Excelente family place, with so many things to do and have a better health, whatever you decide to do, or whatever you decide to play a walk, a jogging, running, by yourself or after a, some tennis hand ball or go and show your last gym rutine
Well kept park and it has a great view of the city at night. Lots of different activities (basketball, handball, tennis, bocce, etc.) and nice just to stroll around with your dog. Be sure to check out the private cemetery to get a little bit of Middle Village history.
Juniper Park, another of my favorites. Basketball courts, tennis courts, 2 children's swing and sprinkler parks. Baseball fields, running track, soccer fields. Lots of benches throughout the parks twists and turns. Hockey game area. Lots of grass to picnic on.
Besides being wonderful in wonderful sunny times, it is great in winter when there is snow as well. Kids have a ball enjoying the sledding slopes of Juniper Valley Park.
It’s such a beautiful and well-maintained park. Been going there since I was a child. I can walk there, where I like to train for 5k’s. There are play grounds, tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, track, plenty of walk paths and space to bike. Also plenty of space for picnicking. I also see people bring their dogs too.
Gorgeous well maintained park. Track is awesome! Trees are all beautiful. Wonderful benches. Great place to walk dogs. 3 playgrounds and tennis courts.
Nice park. It is great to have a park right by where you work where you can have lunch outside when the weather allow it. The only thing is visitors who don't care about others and leave their garbage behind.
Beautiful park with many things to do and different activities. We had a very good day at Juniper. Perfect for families.
This is very difficult and controversial to rate. The park itself is great with a vast variety of activities for people of all ages. But many spots in the park have become hangout spots for "gang" kids who smoke weed and fight and cuss around smaller kids by the sprinklers. It's very disappointing seeing as how it was such a well-rounded park even as of last year. If this continues many people can get hurt, especially the smaller kids and the kids getting into gang related fights.
I've been cycling/running here for years and it's a good spot to do that. Safe park with no issues concerning crime. A ton of space for everyone at any time of the day but it does get a bit crowded when there's baseball/soccer practice. To the DRIVERS that park at the park PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR MIRRORS BEFORE OPENING YOUR CAR DOOR. CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES IVE ALMOST BEEN DOORED.
This huge park under partial renovation for children sprinkler playground other area are well maintained, the tennis courts got both standard court and half for kids, the west boundary got synthetic mastic track for running around the synthetic turf soccer field,
Lovely place for a walk or just to clear your mind. I love the trees and how beautiful it is during spring-fall season. If you feel like bringing your kids here to the playground, roller skate or bike or just walk a dog this place is for you
Large park with a lot of trees. It's nice and breezy, with a walking/running trail, soccer field, baseball field, basketball court, and playgrounds. The bathrooms aren't too clean and usually lacking toilet paper.
Too crowded. Not enough parking. But otherwise a great park. Cool playground area for kids. Restrooms. Plenty of room to run around.
A wonderful play to be with kids.running the track. Playing football/watching the games they usually have on a beautiful day
It has a lot of variety. It could be relaxing place to just hang out, or you could get your exercise and find almost any sport here.
Juniper Park a lovely park, a bit hidden away in a quiet middle class neighborhood in Western Queens. It offers baseball fields, softball fields, a hockey rink, tennis courts, multiple playgrounds, and, to a runners delight the perfect running track (it does need some maintenance upgrades and repairs).
I grew up in Juniper Park. I still take advantage of the park today.
I come here mostly for the track, it needs to be replaced, but it’ll do if you stay on the inside lane and keep your eyes focused on the few bumps that can lead to you taking a fall. The place is beyond clean and safe.
Keep up the good work the diamonds where the kids play baseball are kept in immaculate the people that work there do a fantastic job
