Kaal Rock Manor Apartments reviews
8I've lived in Kaal Rock for almost 2 years now. Great apartment, nice quiet safe area, plenty of parking. No complaints really. Jay the property manager is always so friendly and professional. Ready to help if something is wrong, luckily that doesn't happen but I know he's prepared to get any job done and is always asking how things are.
The manager of the property has been the best that me and my wife have come across in our journey of renting in the past. He is constantly working and has even dropped what he has been doing at the drop of a dime in his own time off to come and help me and my wife with being locked out on our own doing. He is consistently asking us and others in the complex how we are and if there’s anything we need. It’s a nice change from past management where if something was said it would be done it wasn’t but jay keeps his word and have seen a positive change since he’s been in charge.
I have no complaints when it comes to stuff getting done, my dishwasher needed to be replaced and our maintenance guy took care of it as fast as possible, they know what they are doing, they clean up after themselves, and are friendly faces. I love this location because it’s feels almost secluded and we feel safe. On the flip side the train station and plenty of bars/places to eat in walking distance.
My partner an I have been living at KRM for 6 months now and we are continuously impressed! It is in a great location (Only one block away from the train station, 5 min drive to Vassar hospital). The area is fairly safe with low foot traffic. The neighbors are all friendly and the complex is quiet. Accommodations, facilities, and services are all as advertised and are satisfactory. The staff has been beyond friendly and incredibly helpful with all of our needs and responds to concerns or issues instantly. The apartment is up to date and perfect for our needs.
Lived here for four years. Rent was raised 500$ during that time. The complex is in disarray. They have stopped renewing leases so they can kick people out and raise rents even more. Poughkeepsie no longer cares about it's citizens. Tenants have no power. Evictions are rampant.
Terrible laundry facilities. Raised my rent 275 dollars in one shot. Almost 500 in only 3 years. Management is deplorable. No choice to go anywhere else can't afford it.
Landlords such as this have no sympathy for other human beings. I would never rent any of their properties
Raising rent without any repairs. Parking lot is over capacity, needs paving. Pool is non existent. Washers and dryers broken and old. Hope they fix these issues for new tenants.
