Kaplan Frederick MD, Plainview NY

First let me start off by saying that I don't really write reviews but felt compelled to share my experience with this phenomenal doctor. This was the first time I was seeing him, he unfortunately doesn't take my insurance but I went for the visit anyway.

I was going in for something that was bothering me on my back. Dr Kaplan could have come in, examined me and it could have been a quick 2 minute office visit. Instead, this incredible doctor sat down with me for 15 minutes going over everything from head to toe. Any aches, pains, nausea, fatigue he wanted to know about. He diligently sat there and took notes of everything I was describing.

After we got through with that, we went over my mental health. A really deep dive into it and I have to say, I've NEVER felt like a doctor has cared the way Dr. Kaplan did. He took so much time with me to make sure I was ok, gave me words of wisdom that I truly won't forget.

Dr Kaplan, I am forever grateful for your kind words, the time you took with me and the unbelievable bedside manor that you have. Thank you for making me feel better and even though you don't take my insurance, I don't think after this visit I could trust someone else to care for me. Thank you, again!

Dr. Kaplan’s approach to medicine reminds me of my dad who was also a doctor. His bedside manner is very pleasant and old school; he actually strikes a conversation with you and tells you what is going on with your body! It is obvious he enjoys being a doctor and that makes all the difference in the world. I immediately recommended him to my wife after my first visit and we have been going back ever since.

I saw dr Kaplan today. Such a kind, compassionate doctor. Highly recommend!
