Karahi Adda reviews
18Hlo Satshriakal ji I just had their goat Karahi nd chicken lollipop It was great, nd best service nd dine in awesome
I typically come here for lunch. Wonderful establishment! Food is always fresh, delicious and somehow comes out fast! Highly recommend for desi food on the Island!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Karahi Adda, a new and classy halal restaurant that offers an elevated dining experience compared to its Pakistani contemporaries. While I was impressed with the restaurant's exceptional service and elevated dishes, I must say I was disappointed that they didn't offer any soup options on their menu. Despite this minor shortcoming, Karahi Adda is definitely one of the better establishments offering this expression of culinary culture. Although perfection is rare, I must commend the restaurant for its commitment to quality and attention to detail. I highly recommend Karahi Adda to anyone looking for a refined dining experience that showcases the rich and diverse flavors of Pakistani cuisine.
Great service, food really good and fresh.sitting is very nice and clean, you should try this place I am sure you will come back good addition to community.
Cleanliness A+. Very rare to find a desi resturant with the cleaning as priority. Food A.not bad at all.the chicken kebob were one of the best I had coming from a food and butcher family background. Recommended
Man what a food. Its a must place to go to. If you are in NY go and have the best meal. The staff is on point and the owner is very humble.
I made a reservation, drove all the way from Pensylvania for this restaurant, and they said "You never called us" i had to wait 1 more hour to get in, the servive was very poor. The wasn't worth it as well. I wish I hadn't wasted my time for this place!
Hands down the best restaurant in New York. The food is just amazing the chicken tikka was delicious. Makes you feel like back home and the customer service is excellent definitely number 1 on my list.
The best service, the workers here are great especially the Hijabi Girl.she made the stay here wonderful. Would go again!
Their Naans, Lamb Karahi and chicken Karahi are pretty good. Their Kebobs and Tikkahs' are barely average.
I went here for dinner with my family on 3/12/23. In short, the food was delicious and I highly recommend going here! We ordered a mango lassi, twisted potatoes, tandoori chicken tikka, chicken malai boti, karahi biryani, charsi chicken karahi, and plain naan. Mango lassi was delicious, not too thick or too runny. Tasty. The twisted potatoes were the only dish I probably wouldn’t order again, they were just a bit too dry, I did wonder if they were air-fryed maybe, the dryness kind of took away from the flavor. The tandoori chicken tikka was very good, very nicely charred, tender…it was a little sour on some parts but that’s okay, it’s probably my personal preference to not have it be too sour. I would order again. The chicken malai boti was very good, no complains about it. It was tender, nicely charred, super flavorful… The karahi biryani was my favorite dish, soooo many layers of FLAVOR! The smokeyness was really nice. I didn’t even recognize all the flavors but they were just uniquely delicious, trust me, you need to try it. The naan were well made—soft and fluffy. The charsi chicken is not something I tried myself, but my family did love it as well. It’s hard to come by an excellent Pakistani restaurant around here but this place really impressed me for sure. They earned their feature in Newsday for sure!:)
The chicken kebab and chicken cheese kebab were quite nice and the garlic naan was decent. The chicken in the karahi was a bit tough. The biryani and beef karahi were just ok.
Best biryani in town! I've tried so many biryanis in NJ and NY and this karahi biryani is the best of all so far. Very flavourful and delicious. Then baby chicken karahi is very delicious too and it's their specialty too. Best desi food - will try other items soon.
Being a Lahori, I've never been able to find karahi that reminded me of back home flavors until NOW. I can't tell you how DELICIOUS the goat and chicken karahi were. Even the seekh kabaabs were sizzling hot! The naans were AMAZING! Hot and straight out of the oven. You must try this! You will thank me
I had high hopes for this place, was recommended by several people who are foodies and raved about food taste. Place was busy and we ordered 1 lbs chicken and 2 lbs goat karahi for a party of 5. What we received at the table was quasi goat quorma dubbed as karahi. Chicken "whatever " was equally disappointing. First and last experience. Another one bites the dust.
Very unprofessional gave the order for takeout told us to wait for 30 mins. Went back for it. And they said oh we busy fully packed and forgot the order.
Great ambience, food and service. Chef/Owner and the restaurant staff are all very kind and considerate. Phenomenal overall experience. Highly recommend.
It felt like home, me, my wife, and 21 month old daughter were able to enjoy the food to very last bite. The workers were very nice, and owner/chef greeted everyone coming in like we were entering someone home as family.
