Karako Suits of Lynbrook

After a suit mishap with my son, we were able to get a suit the same day we needed it. Their tailor was not in, but they recommended one who could get alterations done within an hour. Thank you, Karako.you saved the day!

First time shopping here off of a recommendation of a friend who shopped here in the past. My first time in, I felt like I was in a sleazy car dealership. Sales rep just kept pushing more expensive items, even after I outlined what I was looking for, then passive aggressively shamed me for not wanted to spend upward of $700. Even after I selected 2 suits, was basically forced to make extra alterations that I did not feel I needed, and was told, in no certain terms, that I didn't know what I was talking about when I declined certain alterations that were clearly superfluous based on the fit. If not for the fact that I needed the suits for work and my normal tailor is closed still, I would never have paid the absolutely overpriced tailor they have on site. I returned today to pick up the altered suits, and the second rep I worked with was polite for the short interaction we had, offering extras like shirts and ties (which I did not needs as i went elsewhere to buy them at a more reasonable price for better quality) but not in a pushy and obtrusive way, and the suits seem to have been at least tailored to the specifications measured for, hence the 2 stars as opposed to 1. But based on the overpriced items, uncomfortable sales interaction with the first rep, and overall poor experience, I will more than likely not return.

Sanjay was very helpful! We found a suit for our wedding that was perfect in fit and color. He was kind and let us browse on our own while also providing us guidance! Enjoyed our experience here very much!

Salesperson very helpful but was managing 3 customers at one time. Not his fault maybe hire additional staff on weekends

Got 2 suits. Both pants were suuuper tight on the first try on (due to my beer belly), tailor guy Nigel took care of it. GOOD TO GO for my wedding. 2 thumbs up. Good floor salesmen as well.

Terrible. False ads. Over charge for tailoring instead of getting the right size or close to size. Quoted several prices for the same job. Mgr no help. Will never return

Great experience and excellent help selecting a suit and shirt. Robert was the salesman and did a good job selecting a suit with the best fit. The other sales staff were helpful as well and operated as a team. Finally, the gentleman in alterations was also very professional. Highly recommended.

Robert and his crew at the lynbrook Karako did an unbelieveable job with my wedding party (10 ppl) order. I needed a particular color of blue that could not be found after countless tries at other Nassau County stores. Robert and his team found all my suits and sizes and was able to make everything work perfectly for me.
