This is my go-to to getting my jewelry fixed and serviced. Every time I go I feel welcomed, valued and in return feel so much with them.
They are a family business and it shows in the time, care and detail they put into doing the best job, experience and results.
I have gone here for a long time and will continue for a long time from now.

I’ve had incredible experience at this jewelry shop. I’ve had several rings re-sized here and my expectations have always been exceeded. The family takes great care of their customers and deserves a great reputation for what they do. I will definitely be a loyal customer based on my experience here.

Sad and confused. Left rings for repair, one with three large “baroque” pearls. The repair was to add one prong to one small ruby. The repair person was not on site, then.
When I picked up, the owner (?) was abusive about the one missing large pearl. And the prong was not repaired. What happened? Theft. Don’t trust. I found a photo of the ring as the “before. ”

This place is great! Excellent family-owned business. Everyone was very friendly and had a smile on their face. Going forward, this is the only place I will go to have my jewelry repaired!

Needed a new jump ring for this pendant and they did an absolutely amazing job! I was worried they couldn’t match the gold as it’s pretty specific, but it came out sooo good! Better than expected 100% 10/10 would recommend!

I had to fix my engagement ring because the bottom part cracked after resizing it somewhere else. I got to know Kathe’s Jewelry from Google and saw many reviews from customers. Today I visited around 1010 and the ring is already fixed around 1500. Not only my ring was done nicely as requested, the price was very reasonable and their service was super efficient! Highly recommend this place and I will definitely continue to use their service when needed in the future!

Ive gone here twice now once for a repair and once for a resize, and the people who work here are so kind. I honestly wish I wore more jewelry so I could go back more often. They are also super quick!

The reviews don't lie! The owner is so incredible kind and helpful. I walked in needing to get a clasp on an anklet fixed and he did it right there. I was in and out within 5 minutes. They have a great selection of jewelry for purchase as well. I've already brought a few other pieces needing repair in, and my sister came in with a watch and they also fixed it within minutes while we were standing there. 10000% recommend - I won't be going anywhere else anytime soon!

What an amazing shop! This was my first time working with a jeweler, and I still cannot imagine a better experience. I recently ordered two rings online and vastly over measured the size of my fingers. I went in and they found my true measurements. The cheaper of the two was an easy and quick fix, he added a bar and made it adjustable. The second, and more expensive of the two, was ~way~ too big, and has beautiful detail work all around the band. I left it with them for about a week and the fix was SEAMLESS. It looks amazing and fits perfectly, and it was also ~incredibly~ well priced. I would have paid two or three times as much without blinking. The attached photos detail the amount of material they had to remove and then reattach. Thank you so much for the beautiful work, I will not be going anywhere else for my future jewelry needs.

This jewelry store is owned by the most lovely and beautiful family! Their prices are very reasonable, the quality of their work is out of this world, they work *super fast*, and their customer service is always so excellent! I always leave with a big smile on my face. I go here for all my jewelry repair needs. I can not recommend them enough!

I took my fiancés engagement ring here after reading reviews from lots of thrilled customers about the work done on their vintage pieces. His ring is very non traditional and has a really unusual design and I’m happy to share that the care and attention to detail holds across vintage pieces as well as newer unusual styles like my ring. I can’t recommend this place enough. The ring had to go down almost a full size, which I was worried may not be possible given the design. I also asked to have two ‘leaves’ removed from the design, one from each end of the ‘vine’, to make the ring more comfortable to wear. You cannot even tell that the current look was not the original intended design, that’s how seamless the worksmanship is. To top it all off, the price was incredibly fair and the work was done in just a week. Jonas and his daughter are friendly and knowledgeable. Please consider taking your special pieces to this family owned business!

I looked all over the city for the perfect piece to leave for my lover before I departed and this store is the only one in all of nyc that had exactly what I looked for. Their selection is vast and precious, but most importantly, everyone that works there cares with heart and attends to what ever it is you need. I asked a million questions and spent an hour alone picking out a box, and they were not just happy to do it, but equally invested in making sure that the piece I purchased was exactly perfect. I had an incredible experience here and I’m not gonna be going anywhere else in New York City for any jewelry needs.

I took a necklace here for a small repair and it was done on the spot for a very reasonable price. They were very skilled and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend for any repairs.

I spent many, many weeks (months, really) looking for a jeweler to take my grandmother’s wedding ring to for resizing/redesign. It’s irreplaceable and I was nervous to part with it, even briefly. Kathe’s had the best reviews by far; I thought I’d go in for an estimate and leave if it didn’t feel right. When I arrived in Jonas’ shop he was so welcoming and kind, listened to my thoughts and said he could do any of the options I described. I asked for his opinion - should I redesign? Resize? Change the band? He said we should clean it up and resize it and then if I still want to change it he could, it’s a family heirloom and a beautiful piece. He didn’t try to pressure me into buying a new setting, I could tell he gave me the advice he would have given a friend. He was so kind and generous with his time. I’m so glad I took his advice, he did a beautiful job and the turn around was about 48 hours! Extremely reasonable price and quick, quality work. I couldn’t be happier. I will be taking ALL of my jewelry repair here from now. I didn’t purchase any new pieces (this time) but you know I’ll be back in to browse! Like many other reviews mention, this shop has beautiful unique pieces. Jonas is the best, this is one of those old school nyc neighborhood gems. 10 stars! Thank you, Jonas!

Had a great experience. Brought in a gold bracelet to be fixed, a chain broke and they were able to do it quickly (I had come in the morning when they first opened but they said if I came back they could fit me in because I needed it by EOD). Super friendly and plan on bringing my other stuff to them. Great find.

I had to fix a broken gold chain. Jonas the owner had it done in 30 min and was so nice and welcoming. You will not regret going there!
