Supermarket Key Food reviews
27Good produce. They have sometimes really nice sales on all types of products. Great place to shop. Fresh meats and veggies.
It's ok for a small neighborhood market, your not gonna save money, prices are a little high and the meat and produce are ok. For quick stop for something you forgot. It's ok
It doesn't have a deli to make sandwiches and cold cuts. Otherwise, I like it. Especially, the fact they don't have Bag check. Which I BLOODY HATE WITH A PASSION!
Space is tight but variety is good for a neighborhood store. Sale items are best but don't go at the end of the sale week.
I Shop hear often, but I'd rather not, overpriced everything, and they are the only Supermarket Still Selling Bags a dirty practice.
I wish the managers were wearing masks during Covid-19 like the city mandates! It would make up for the overpriced and old veggies they sell.
This keyfood is expensive and has a very poor variety of produce. The management here is also very rude, nasty, and (as I suspect) racist. There's a clear difference between how he treats white customers and non white customers. I greeted him once when I approached the register and he didn't even respond back.
With how expensive this place is they could atleast have decent customer service. This supermarket is a disgrace. Save yourself some money and head to Food Bazar. It's a further walk but it's better than this place.
Least favorite supermarket in the neighborhood. I just dash in and out. I find two of the Cashiers to be rude. The price gouging during this epidemic is a real turn off. I do most of my shopping on Amazon Fresh. Delivery from fresh was a little rocky for March and April but, they seem to be up and running again. I have an oder from Fresh coming in the morning. I can't wait. I'm trying to eat organic and Fresh normally has what I need for my family without ripping me off.
Regular supermarket, it has what you need. The prices on meat aren't to bad but definitely not good.
First off, is close to home. I like a lot their deals' section @fruit-veggie deptthen the yogurt section.
Wonderful experience in this location. One of the few Keyfoods around me that has things in stock.
Its really small. I kept running into people and things. They are far too expensive as well. I don't see me returning to this store. The store was clean and neat.
I WILL NO LONGER SHOP AT THIS KEYFOOD! I've been a customer for more than ten years but I will not patronize this store anymore. The customer service is HORRIBLE! When a customer can't question a sale item without being called "hard-headed" by the inept cashier and the manager says nothing, you obviously don't want my business. I will make sure to tell all my friends and family to shop elsewhere.
Great grocery store with everything you need at fair prices. I never wait in line to check out either. What more do you need from your neighborhood grocery store?
I've been going to this key food for years. It Has gotten much better over the years. Guess it's because we have new neighbors around here now. John the manager is very helpful. I think there expanding this store. And The new "market" key food on near Halsey is same owner.
The staff and owners are the best. They are pleasant and always on top of their game. They care deeply about customer service, satisfaction. It is always a pleasure.
I live near by and know the owners so hopefully they don't get mad but. This keyfood sucks. The meats look terrible (I hope they ain't doing that out blood on it to make it look good), it's small almost too small, and the variety isn't there. Now the crappy thing is it's gotten worse over the years because when I was a kid it wasn't this bad, but I understand a new clientele has moved in so they try to fit in more stuff to cater to the afluent Caucasians moving in. That is fine but it's a bit cramped and the current workers they got don't do there jobs well. I love the owners they have been like family to me these 24 years, but I know that they have a new supermarket 3 blocks down and that's why they are letting this one slip. That new market is legit. If they took time and effort into revamaping this keyfood like their new supermarket I feel profits would stay consistent. I have been seeing people sucking it up and walking the extra few blocks just to shop at the other supermarket so it just goes to show that a little polish could help the keyfood. Otherwise it here for me to get WIC and that it.
Wow the piped-in music was blasting like a night club, and yes, the cashiers lack personalities and basic courtesy.
Relatively small branch packed with pretty much everything you could imagine.
Closes too early
I have shopped at this store since 1977, true it had a different name, but the ownership has never changed. They are kind to the community and hire from within the community. The prices are modest but they have sales weekly that make up for some higher prices. They have home delivery, workers to help you home with groceries, if needed and accommodates disabled people.
