Key Food Supermarkets reviews
16The cashiers are lovely, very kind and friendly. The store, however, is overpriced and has deceptive pricing.
Be careful buying salad mix in packages. It look fresh once you break it down quarter leaves are no good!
They usually have what I'm looking for, affordable prices and the cashiers and other staff are usually helpful when I'm looking for an item. I never had a problem here. They even offer reusable bags, which is great.
Happy to have a grocery store within walking distance in the neighborhood; very sweet cashiers!
The staff is nice but shopping there is usually frustrating because of aisles being blocked by boxes, people deliveries etc.
It's out the flatbush neighborhood, that's why its good! Anything on flatbush Ave is garbage, from all the employees that work on the Ave to quality!
Fully stocked however I wish they would clean the space, it irritates me on a daily basis that the cashiers never clean the conveyer at the check out. They would also play or talk to friends and ignore you while you are waiting to be cashed out.
Vegetables and fruits rot within minutes of purchase. Some fruits are already sold rotten. Yogurts are sold past expiration date. Check expiration date of everything before buying!
Recently redesign the best fruits and vegetables in this area of Brooklyn everything fresh air conditioning on.
Buyer beware! The prices of various items are frequently not posted. Today I went to buy vanilla extract. A one ounce bottle was listed on the shelf for $2.49. Next to it was a two-ounce bottle. I expected it to cost less than $4.99. But when it rang up on the register it came to $8.99. What a ripoff. And this is not the first time that I have discovered misleading labeling on the shelves.
Love this Supermarket always has fresh vegetables and fruits, also a great variety of merchandise to choose from. Could be alittle bigger but overall you'll get what you came fora good price
Local, clean, close to the train, and friendly staff. This Key Food has everything a supermarket should.
It's near my children's pediatrician's office, which is very convenient for me. It also carries many things that you will find on your grocery list. However, it is very very small. Often the guys are stocking the shelves which means there is even less room to move around. The store manager is very kind and helpful, but store is where you go when you quickly NEED something you've forgotten.
Clean with fresh foods always. Wish they had more package free produce, but otherwise always a great selection.
Mostly industrial type foods, produce and miscellaneous with some organic and natural type stock.well laid out with pleasant atmosphere; they try very hard to service ALL types of shoppers.for REAL organic and natural products one goes to Flatbush co-op on the next block which is of course more expensive.
DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING MEAT FROM HERE, I bought chicken which looked normal, cooked it, and when I cut it open it was GREEN and DISEASED! Not to mention have come home with spring mix several times that were rotten to top it off the most rude & unprofessional deli staff (who cuss frequently and talk dirty) and cashiers who ignore customers and talk amongst each other. I will never shop here again.
