KeyBank reviews
7My account was hacked this Summer and it couldn’t have been handled any better. Gloria was very pleasant and more importantly she did what needed to be done without a problem.
Never any parking even though they have their own lot. I’ve gone, there has been no parking and no customers in the bank, I’ve seen people park in the Kay bank lot and walk to other businesses; one guy was wearing a chefs uniform and went to a restaurant so he wasn’t worried about parking at length. I have mentioned the issue multiple times to employees and have emailed, I was told they don’t watch the lot and email said they’d look into things. This has been going on for 2 years.
Incompetent staff. Came in with my GF because her count was hacked, and we wanted to close the account and reopen a new one. This lady had to call the keybank help line! Why doesnt the worker know what to do. This worker literally had no idea what she was doing. Never been to a bank where the employee knew less than the customer. SMH
Everyone at this location is very rude. I go out of my way, just so I don't have to deal with the people here. They should get taught how to do their job by the one in lansingburgh, how can the people in lansingburgh be so sweet and then walking into the key Bank in downtown Troy is like walking into the devil's den. I say fire all of them and start over!
I have always received courteous and competent service at this facility. Gloria Permaul is wonderful, as is Jim Boyer.
The hours are ridiculous. To be open from only 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays and then closed on the weekends? Not convenient at all. There are people who get out of work after 6 pm. At least open up at 8.
I went in with government issued documents and they spelled my name incorrect and then tried to lie when I addressed the issue saying that that is what my DMV NY issued drivers license says; when they in fact take copies of the information provided to file for evidence. Adding the fact in my account all my personal information was incorrect as well. They also issued me a brand new debit card with a chip that does not work so when I go to stores to purchase items, I hold lines up looking like I have zero money because the chip keeps failing to get to the swiping option. The manager/ supervisor does not care what an inconvenience this is nor has any of these issues been rectified at all. Again, on top of being escalated with the main customer service contact center. This is the first time in my life I have ever encountered such a crazy issue with any banks branch.
