Been my go-to for 3 years now! Shin is always amazing and who I choose, but I’ve had equally good haircuts from Fausto and Yohei! All of them on a par with each other. Faultless, friendly, I love this place.

During NYC quarantine period, KIDA is closed, but the barbers kept serve community through 1 on 1 online video instruct for customers to do hair cut with limited tools. I made appointment with a barber and they scheduled a meeting time very soon. The barber was very patient and helpful. He spent 2 hours with me and I was very satisfied with my haircut! And they provide this service for FREE! They just want to help out during this difficult time. I can't wait to have my haircut with KIDA after quarantine. Really grateful for what they are doing now!

Usually I work with another barber and it's been consistently brilliant (kudos to Yohei), due to availability of him I booked with Fausto this time and it's the most unpleasant hair salon experience I had in years. With a very aloof attitude the barber rudely shredded my hair in a lightning fast speed. Speechlessly he managed to finish the job in about 15 minutes (which is supposed to be done in 25min, according to their website) and walked away. I never expected to be treated like a God by being a customer but this guy made me feel like a servant, humble and unimportant.

I’m satisfied and impressed by this place, Fausto is an amazing master barber. I came to Kida before some upcoming job interviews in the creative industry and would need something clean but not too stern. It’s my first time to this place and Fausto was able to grasped what I was looking for. The result met all my needs, which is quite an achievement since mine hair is the typical hard straight Chinese hair. I will definitely comeback for more cuts!

Excellent service. Excellent location and most of all excellent hair cut. I've been going here for a couple of years now reliably going to Yohei. Great banter and vibe going on in the place and have never had bad haircut. It's rare to have an opening for a walk on so make plans and book ahead! On the pricier side but they offer prices for trims and it's worth every cent.

Kida has some of the best barbers I have found in the city thus far. Everyone on staff has provided an incredible haircut.

The staff at Kida were incredible with me! Shin was the absolute best barber for me and I highly recommend going to Kida! Great vibe, great skills, and I got a lot of compliments afterwards.
