Kimganae 김가네 Korean food Flushing, NY reviews
15Great food from multiple cuisines for not very much $! Would totally come back. The restaurant has multiple cultures, mostly Japanese and Korean. We had ordered kimchi fried rice with beef, bulgogi over rice and a bowl of udon with seafood. The portions are quite large and will most definitely fill you up. Would totally recommend this place!
I bought takeout and everything tasted really good, although I wouldn’t recommend getting the kimganae pork Katsu to go since it’s not as crunchy. (It tastes better when you eat there)
I enjoyed the beef roll and Soondubu more than the combination roll.
They gave me 2 side dishes of radish kimchi + 2 salads + 2 soups
I've bought from this place multiple times, the first visit was maybe 6yrs ago? I've never had a chance to dine-in with college, work and now covid, but they've got amazing service from what I've seen when ordering and while waiting for my food. The food is a tad pricy, but delicious and I find myself ordering again whenever I'm in the area
This restaurant started out quite small but grew bigger over time. They're known for their pork cutlet but offer an extensive range of Korean food ranging from ramen, rice dishes, and spicy rice cakes. I have always gotten the pork cutlet from here and it's one of the best you can find in Flushing. My only complaint is sometimes the cutlet is quite hard and you may find the breading is separated from the pork. However it doesn't impact the taste too much and they were still very enjoyable meals.
One of the old female cashiers was extremely rude to me and the small little waiter boy was also very rude. Would never come back to this place again terrible service
Good for reasonable Korean casual food. Great choice of kimbap and donkatsu. I had spicy squid over rice. There were generous portions and food was good. Service was good overall. It's a nice go to place for casual dining.
The soup offered at the start of our meal surprised me a lot, it was way better than I thought a free soup would be. I ordered the rice cake and kimchi dumpling soup. I liked the dumplings more than the rice cakes. The servers were nice and service was quick.
I was surprised reading all the reviews. From my own experience when indoor dining or ordering takeout the waiters nor the cashier haven been rude to me. The place is clean in my opinion. The size of the restaurant is kind of small and seem it’s getting more popularity, that I think they should open another restaurant. The pricing is worth the food. I love the food and their employees
This place has such amazing food and service. Everything I had for the most part was so well seasoned and put together. The udon noodles were cooked perfectly. Will always be coming back. Guy Fiery needs to come here ASAP so I can watch it on tv like I know that’s right.
The staff service was terrible, they were rude and talked over us. Although the food service was okay, the eel roll tasted spoiled and expired.
Ordered the pork cutlet, dubboki and kimganae kimbap for lunch and ended up getting food poisoning. I threw up and had the most awful stomach pains. It was the only thing I had eaten prior to getting sick; Unsanitary and not clean. For such a popular place you would think they would be more careful. Also, the cashier was a bit rude and impatient. Will not be ordering from here again.
I have not been in quite a long time but growing up it was my all-time favorite restaurant. I came so often that the waiters and waitresses already knew me from appearance and they were always welcoming. I would always order the tuna roll and a cutlet and it was absolutely delicious every time. Even when they changed chefs I was still amazed by the food. My meal came with free miso soup and spicy radish which was excellent as well. I immensely recommend this restaurants to anyone.
One of my favorite restaurants in Flushing. I especially enjoy the spicy tuna roll and the belogi over rice, but it's all good.
Their food is tasty and the prices are affordable!
I love their dumplings and kimchi fried rice: ')
The staff is nice and kind.
Can't wait to visit again
