KinderKiddz, Grand Island NY

I would highly recommend Kinderkiddz if you are looking for a daycare. The owner and teachers are all so friendly and all work together to make it such a great environment for our kids. Of course our kids have fun, but also learn a tremendous amount which has been an incredible asset to their development.

KinderKiddz is a wonderful place to take your kids. Teachers are great and it is a very clean and organized place. Thank you for everything!

We have been very pleased with the care that our children receive at this facility. My daughter is very shy and within a few days was comfortable being dropped off in the morning. She comes home talking about her favorite teachers and friends, I'm so glad she can feel at home here. We also like the BrightWheel app that is used, we get photos almost daily with updates on class activities.

As a parent of children who have attended this daycare since it’s inception, I am quite disappointed at the recent turn they have taken. My children have attended this daycare since birth, and the lack of professionalism among the owner and new director Andrea is, for lack of better words, disgusting. As an African American single mother, I have never been treated with such blatant disrespect by two women who claim to have children’s best interest at heart. The director, built what I would call an inappropriate fixation on my child which I mistook in the beginning as genuine love, wanting her to be apart of ads for her business outside of the daycare, always saying “My *******”etc.however it is clear this was not the case, as she is now making up outright lies regarding my child and is unable to provide any proof or documentation of my child being an issue at the daycare. Mind you when speaking to a family member picking up my children, she didn’t even know I was a single mother, didn’t know that we address my son by his nickname who also attends this daycare as well. Everything has been directed towards my daughter, not my son. In recent conversations she has even admitted to only being around my son a handful of times, while he has been attending this daycare for 3 years.

This woman cannot keep staff as she is not an active owner in the business, and hires directors who either can’t keep staff properly following procedures, or women with god complexes who feel it is okay to throw children out for age appropriate concerns. I was contacted in regards to a billing issue, and instead of allowing me to explain it was in error and would be repaired immediately, she would not listen to a word I was saying, and labeled me aggressive for trying to defend myself. When my children’s godmother, a Caucasian woman came in, the story changed and “it was the love for my daughter” that made her change her mind. However, without warning, after receiving said payment this morning, when my children were picked this afternoon by their godmother, the director and owner pulled her aside and stated my daughter needs one on one care and that this has been a consistent issue. Keep in mind, in the two years my daughter has been at daycare, I have not had one conversation nor has any other person who has picked them up in regards to my child’s behavior. Today, my daughter, as a two year old, refused to nap. This was reason enough apparently for Andrea and the owner to kick not only my daughter out of daycare but my son. Not once did I receive a phone call saying to come get her. In fact I received a message stating she is normally the longest napper so she was clearly having an off day. Then Andrea and the owner proceeded to insinuate my child needed one on one care and services and comparing her to a child who sees a therapist at school and a child in a “special preschool. ” When I attempted to contact the daycare multiple times after this conversation was had with their godmother, not their mother ME, I ended up having to go to the daycare directly in order to have a conversation. This daycare is a joke and my children will not be where they are not welcomed. If you receive any county services, or are a minority, they will not listen. They will speak over you, label you aggressive, and instead of trying to address any issues with you as they arise, make up lies when staff quit to get rid of your children. To the staff who directly work with the children, they are amazing. They deserve better than how they are treated and get made to feel like speaking to parents regarding their children is a crime. Building rapport with your child’s caregivers is inappropriate in the eyes of the new director and the owner. It is very clear her only motivation is money. She genuinely does not care about children or her staff. She lies, back tracks, and is not afraid to keep mentioning her other business, her bank account, and her lack of time to manage her daycare because she can’t be here everyday.

I have visited KinderKiddz and am very impressed. Every effort has been made to give the Grand Island community an excellent daycare center that a parent can feel confidant their child is getting an excellent learning experience and is being well taken care of. Definitely recommend it.

Supervisors and management are very unprofessional, poor communication skills. I wouldn’t recommend your child attending this daycare!

I'm so pleased there is now a bright, clean, and expertly run early childhood education daycare right here on Grand Island. Our family couldn't be happier. Everyone at KinderKiddz from the teachers to the director and owners have been welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend.

KinderKiddz is one of the best daycares I think I’ve ever seen in the Buffalo area. They’re very consistent, caring, and very communicable. I’ve had a chance to meet the owner and I’m happy to see how dedicated she is to making this a better place for kids. I appreciate what they do for my two kids and I hope that this center continues to grow tremendously. Thank you, KK.

KinderKiddz has been such a wonderful daycare for our daughter. The teachers are caring, creative, and great at communicating what happens day to day. The facility is bright, clean, and fun!

Kinderkiddz has been wonderful! The teachers were amazing this year and everyone is so friendly. My kids loved their teachers and that always makes leaving them so much easier. Now for the facility, wow! The classrooms are well put together with a very nice blend of traditional toys and technology to learn! Can't wait to watch my kids continue to grow here!

KinderKiddz has the most amazing teachers! They truly have a love for early childhood care and education! From Infants to Preschool these teachers are there truly to care for the children. My son was hesitant when first starting in childcare and within a few weeks he absolutely loves being with his teachers and friends! An absolutely amazing center!

This amazing place opening on Grand Island was a godsend for my family and me. My daughter is Autistic and finding somewhere that could understand her disability and love, educate and comfort her was our top priority. This place has done that and then some! Every person from office staff to the teachers and beyond has a caring spirit and embraces every type of child. I am so thankful to KinderKiddz for giving me peace of mind that my daughter is in the best hands possible.

I took a tour of this new childcare center and I must say it is amazing! The amount of detail and attention made to focus on each child who will be attending! The entire staff was very kind and welcoming! My 18 month old did not want to leave! The island definitely needed a space like this! It didn’t feel like I was at a daycare, it was as if I was somewhere that when I as a parent was at work I knew my child was going to come back home and teach me something new he had learned! I cannot wait to enroll my son!
