The night guy wants $10 for the jerk chicken plate that costs $6 all day. Their other location 2 blocks away doesn’t play games like that. Great food. Wish the night dude didn’t make up prices.

Great food, great prices! I only gave 3 stars for service because oftentimes there is only 1 person working. Otherwise, they are polite and accommodating.

Decent food for the price point. They have a pretty good spread available and the customer service was good. I would definitely pop back in to try something else. All this for food for $6 is insane! Please support this business if you’re in the area.happy eating

Small oxtail is 20.00. They are open very very late. Can’t ask for a lot when you’re hungry that late.

My go to spot for delicious Jamaican food! At least once a week! Portions on point! Quality on point! Nothing fancy, however what they lack in atmosphere they % make up with delicious food!

They wait for your order is extremely too long. Service very slow. Ordered through uber eats and it was horrible like my food was throwing in the trays no gravy no cabbage everything wrong. Please its better to go in to watch your food being made but for sure your gonna be waiting 30 mins for 6 dollars plate of food that's already precook.smh

Do not eat here. The food was soooo greasy and somehow bland. I don’t know how you mess up pasta and chicken but they did.

Against my better judgement I gave this place a chance but I want better for you. Don’t waste your money.

I wish I can even rate it lower. I went there with a friend and I to order. This guy that was taking order thought it were ubereat drivers. I told him we were not and asked if him take card. He said yes and took our order. He proceed to make our order then he told us it's not ours, it was the uberdriver. He ignored us for a while till I asked why are you ignoring us. He yells at us in front of everyone that since we don't have cash, no food.if he didn't say he took card, I would of happily gotten cash out at the atm they have at the store or he could of pointed out the atm as well.

Found hair in my food, nasty! They also sent me the wrong drink and the food was not properly sealed at all. Never ordering from this restaurant again.

It's the Bronx and the food is okay ain't the best but they feed you food for the price

Placed an order on seamless 3 hours ago. Food never arrived. AVOID. Avoid. This place is a joke. They don’t even pick up the phone when you call. There are better Jamaican restaurants in the area with better food!

Love king Barka and particularly this location. They tend to have more than the one of 135th although this one closes (the other is basically 24/7). The staff here is also much nicer than in 135th. Highly recommended.

The food is great with many dishes to try from and the prices are on an affordable level great place for great tasty dishes.
