Kings Co Imperial reviews
16 It’s hard to believe because the delivery is so delicious but the food is even better in person than delivery.
The service is good and everything is amazing. You can’t go wrong with anything you order.
The back patio is heated and not too cold even during the winter.
The spring moon shrimp and chicken dumplings were really salty and barely edible
The crispy oyster mushroom are okay the green peppercorn flavor is subtle and enjoyable
The hong kong style noodle and the chinese pork ribs were good
The sacha beef and chinese brocoli was perfect
This place used to be my favorite, sad to see food quality has gone down as the prices have gone up. Miss the eggplant dish.
Always always always delicious! This place never disappoints. I’ve brought numerous friends and family here and everyone always loves the food and experience. The staff is always friendly, and the vibe is always great. My favorite items are the generals Tao’s tofu, the eggplant and the szechuan mushrooms. It’s one of our go-to, don’t-have-to-even-think-about-it dinner spots ️
Sad to say quality has really gone down in the last few years while price has steadily gone up. The last few times I’ve ordered delivery there is so little meat in the dishes even the general Tsos was basically vegetarian. For 25$ a dish without rice? Get out of here.
Come for the cold sesame noodles only.
There is no question that this place has the BEST Chinese food around. Long beans and soup dumplings all day every day. 10/10.
Just go with a big group and order one of everything. But seriously - nothing was bad here. The mock eel surprised me, loved it, def need 2 soup dumplings per person, I would say the least impressive dish was the chow fun. Alll the mushrooms! Cocktails go very well with everything. Coconut candy at the end is chefs kiss.
I went there to join friends and the server was pretty rude by telling they have cameras for the orders, the messed up everything from our order, they didn’t bring the right order and miss something I ordered and is not right if you miss something and then you charge something else. I don’t mind of paying what is fair, but if you messed it up please don’t accuse people with your cameras. Take the order and bring what is there no more, no less. Is embarrassing hearing from a server or a manager talking about cameras. We live here, we know the cost of everything, so… just try to be polite and do your job, and do it the right way.
Thanks
This place is heavy on our eating out rotation. It's delicious and I've never taken someone to eat there who has disagreed. I will note that it's not super traditional, authentic Chinese food. But their take on Chinese is absolutely delicious.
Ambitious flavor profiles abound here alongside vegetarian substitutes with King Co Imperial's high end takes on traditional Chinese fare. When it's spicy, they mean it but, if you like spicy, you're in the rigth place. Don't let the initial room and facade fool you, there is ample seating in the back. The Dan Dan noodles and General Tso's are favorites. Highly agreeable price point given the quality of food.
Ordered from Caviar the other night. It took me a broiler chicken dumpling and a half to notice that they were in fact, entirely raw. I called and spoke to the owner Josh, who to be fair, was completely apologetic and 100% professional. He promised I'd be sorted out for the dangerous inconvenience, but it's been two days now and nothing from the restaurant or Caviar. Generally KCI is great, but a lack of basic food safety is just not acceptable in any way at all. Fortunately I got away with a mild reaction, but somebody could get really hurt here.
I have never tasted something so bad. The noodles are a all sticky together. It’s literally impossible to eat. It feels like your eating raw dough
Worst Chinese food ever. Please stop following Tiktok and instagram influencers telling you to come here. Food is hysterically inauthentic. Couldn't pay me to come back and eat here
A neighborhood gem! The food here is so good! Service is always spot on! Im obsessed with their soup dumplings and their Dan Dan noodles
It’s hard to find service like this. I had a great time with my friend. They took us to the back room which had a great ambiance. The server was super helpful and kind. We left our key there and tried to contact us and they were going above and beyond to help us out.the food was great especially the whole fish! Definitely recommend.
