Kings of Kobe, New York NY

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Jersey city. The food melts in your mouth and is so fresh and creative. I literally had a burger with snowcrab, corn, roasted tomato, crispy onions and pesto! The drinks, specifically The Lady M are delicious and the service is next level. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Me and my ex husband came to the bar on 5/27/23 and we had Kelsey the bar manager as our bartender and Kelsey was amazing! Kelsey made the best drinks ever! An Kelsey is the best manager ever! Thank You Kelsey!

Kelsey, bartender/manager makes an awesome margarita 2 for 36$, each one cost 18$ a drink. A think is a little over the price but what isn't overpriced in my right? The impossible patty crear your own with sautéed onions and mushrooms are very good.

What a GREAT find the Kings of Kobe while spending the night in Hells Kitchen before departing in the morning for a 16 day Transatlantic Cruise (NYC to Rome). Everything about this place was 5 star IMO. Service (Chase my waiter was fantastic!), ambiance and THE Best Burger and Fries I have had. If your in the area, do yourself a favor and Go!

Absolute Empfehlung. Das Essen mehr als ausreichend und sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und liest jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Die Preise sind wie üblich in New York entsprechend. Man kommt nur sehr selten zu zweit unter 100$ aus dem Restaurant.
Empfehlung: Burger Vegan und Tacos. Auch der normale Burger ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Amazing burgers, extremely hospitable, and great staff. They were on top of everything. Refills brought without needing to ask, plates picked up once they were empty, and very friendly. Once again, the food was amazing.

Food was top class but decided not to tip due to the waiting staff being unattentive. Difficult to attract their attention to order more drinks and food. Wasn't even busy either. So we selected no tip when paying by card. On later checking found the waitress had added 18% which was over 13 dollars to our check. DINER BEWARE

It tasted great and was exactly as I expected, and I really enjoyed both sandwiches. The fries were really good as well. The staff were friendly and got my food to me fast. You can grab a quick meal here if you're in a hurry.

One of my very favourite places in the city. The food is phenomenal, the cocktails are brilliant, the service is top notch and the music is excellent. Laid back atmosphere and free WiFi. Thoroughly deserves a straight five stars.

Omg! Everything was super tasty. I loved it! I definitely recommend it to you. The place is so clean, the service is perfect and very relaxing. You can have a very good time there with friends, family or your partner.

Amazing hamburgers and service. The waiter has been kind and observant (he would come to ask how it was going and fill the water without even asking). We felt the tip was more than deserved.
Speaking about the hamburger, they looked amazing and tasted even more. You could taste the quality of the products and the good mix of them.

This place is fantastic. I had the caesar salad recently - so good, and the chicken and avocado sandwich. Their burgers are equally great. And plus their milk shakes, which are out of this world! Rich, creamy, and delicious. It's a bit on the pricier side - but for good reason. You won't be disappointed!

Went on Tuesday and was very happy with my experience. We were seated immediately and the service was fantastic from our main server to all the busboys as well. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our food came out at a good pace, without feeling rushed.

The food was elevated bar food, very tasty and on par with a good chain restaurant. We would definitely come back!

Went in tonight while just walking by. Had no idea what I was walking into. Greeted by a friendly doorman. Then a super pleasant waiter. The burger was possibly the best I have ever had. Even the snickers wonton desert was awesome. I will certainly come back one day and will recommend to my friends. Exceptional guys

So, I'm starting this review after the EXTREME sticker shock. I'll finish after the meal.

I know what real Kobe beef is, but I asked the server what it is. I got a story about American Kobe being from cows that started in Japan and were brought to America. He told me that the cows are massaged and given beer and treated very well. I gotta call BS but it's all good, as long as this $15.95+1.75 for cheddar+3.00 for bacon+$7.95 for small fries+4.00 for tea etc. Is amazing.

Okay, so I finished the meal. The half pound beef patty was very good. I ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly. It appears to have been prepared on a flat top, with no flame involved. The bun was excellent, fresh, and tasty. The bacon and sharp cheddar were of good quality. The battered french fries or good but not great.

The service was top notch. About as goodas it gets. Attentive but not annoying. Just the right amount of service. And since I was there on a Tuesday evening at 5: 30 p.m. I can't really gauge the atmosphere because I was one of the few in the restaurant. I feel like it might get pretty loud and boisterous at happy hour closer to the weekends but tonight it was very quiet.

My total bill came to $41. That was the half pound burger with cheese and bacon, a small fry, iced tea and a 20% tip. As good as it was, I'm not sure that I will be able to stomach that price again for a burger and fries. I think I would be perfectly willing to pay the $18 to go for just the cheeseburger, and forgo the overpriced fries and iced tea.

I would like to reiterate how good the service was. Good service is virtually impossible to find any more.

Basically all their burgers are made from wagyu beef which makes them absolutely delicious. The only caveat is that basically any topping you may want including cheese is extra so it can get a little pricey. But if you are looking for something beyond just a fast food burger give it a try.
