Kitlas Restaurant, Frankfort NY

Had "Ma's Polish dish". It was good but my mom is Polish so it's hard to compete. Great service everyone liked the food very much, good ribs, stuffed porkchops.

Fish frys, Overall, it was ok. The fish was good. The Mac and Chese was different, really sharp cheese taste (I personally didn't like it, and i love mac and cheese)! The coleslaw was ok, very average. Unfortunately, the fries were cold and soaked with old grease taste. This happens when the fries sit around in the kitchen for a long period of time and get cold. They take on this real greasey taste and texture. Overall we probably won't go back there for a fish fry, but maybe try some other food. We'll see!

Rita was the best waitress we've ever had, food was delicious, portions perfect, homemade peppercorn ranch dressing delightful. Awesome place!

The Kitlas is an area favorite, an institution in itself. A must stop on your restaurant tour. Simply stated, great food, friendly service, and leave room for dessert.

My boyfriend and I have been here 3 times in the past two months. We keep coming back because we always have such a great time here! The food is amazing and obviously made from scratch and to order. The service is top notch. Christina is always ready to accomodate us, personable and gives great recommendations. I feel that going out to dinner should be an event. I do not want to feel rushed or have everything loaded on my table instantaneously. We like to take our time and taste what we're eating. We never feel pushed out the door in order for them to turn over our table. Tuscan sirloin tips-absolutely wonderful. Also, try their lemon drop Martini! There's more than one reason Kitlas has been around for decades!

Party of 2. If I could give negative stars I would. Waited for 20 minutes before a waitress acknowledged us, we ordered our drinks, appetizer and meal at once so we couldn’t get ignored again. Waited for another 10 minutes before our drinks came out. It took another 50 minutes before our appetizer came out. Waited once again for our salad. After 2 hours and 15 minutes we asked if our food was even started and had it wrapped to go. We were there for 2 and a half hours total and still didn’t eat. Poorly ran kitchen. Our waitress was sweet and you could tell it wasn’t her fault. We were excited to try a staple of our community. Unfortunately we will not be returning.
