LOVE their sushi - rolls are very creative and the quality of the fish is excellent.
Haven't tried the hibachi.
Only downside is that the sushi dining area is only partially separated from the hibachi so it's really noisy, hard to have a nice tet a tete.

Chef had an attitude. He didnt interact with us at all because of a misunderstanding with what people ordered. The prices on the regular menu were not up to date. Was not worth what they charged us. I will not be returning.

OMG, what a wonderful experience! We had a wonderful server, Chef. Very quick service, orders were correct, food was excellent. The only "complaint ", is the restaurant itself, is in a small building, wish it was bigger.

I have never eaten here. So I can't speak on behalf of the food or service. But I will speak on as a customer looking at places. I will not be using this one. Because how the owner responds to people who give one stars. Instead of other business who show empathy or who are at least professional with there response. I always read reviews before going somewhere and because of there response. I will not be going. I want to enjoy my time and money I spent.

We had an excellent experience here tonight. Even though it was busy, we got right in for dining and received all of our food in good timing, food was hot fresh and excellent. Our server was on top of filling our drinks and making sure we were taken care of! Definitely our new favorite hibachi place

The owner is very disrespectful and rude and so is his staff tired to make reservations for my mother birthday called them he gave me two time frame 4: 30 and 6 i told him will call right back so i can arrange a time frame with my sister i called back less than 15 min later and he starts yelling saying 6: 30 after he just told me he had 6 available and then hangs up on me i called back to speak to someone else his staff answers the phone and tells me that was THE OWNER i was speaking with.i told her he was very rude and disrespectful she then proceeded to tell me they will not give me a reservation because the owner told them not to and hangs up. I’m so upset that’s not how you speak to customers especially when i been bragging about this place haven’t had their food in 2 years but last i remember it was great but that type of service was horrible and makes me never want to set foot in there cause the way i am i will bring it up in person and will not be a good thing GET IT TOGETHER

It was the worst. I went to eat happily, and the chef and the manager were very ill-mannered, and the chef shouted and the service was terrible. I paid for all the food and came out. A restaurant you'll never go near again.

We have been going to Kobe for years, and have never had any issues. Went for my birthday last night, and sat at a hibachi table. The seating is the same as it was prior to covid, definitely tight, especially since you’re packed in with strangers. Looking around, the restaurant definitely can use a good deep cleaning everywhere.
I ordered filet minion, husband scallops with shrimp, and my son filet with scallops.
When the chef was serving the meat, he served mine first, then mistakenly served my husband filet, so my husband put the meat on my son’s plate. Immediately after, with no warning or reason, the chef reached in and took meat off my plate while I was eating, and I can assure you that there wasn’t much to begin with, to serve other guests who ordered filet. I was extremely shocked, upset and disgusted, especially during Covid! I honestly couldn’t believe he did that!
I discreetly spoke to the manager, who said he’d talk to our chef, and although I could see him standing in back, he never came back to discuss with me, or even apologize. Horrible and inexcusable all the way around. Definitely our last dinner there.

We went to Kobe tonight (Wednesday) at 6: 30pm for sushi to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the recent reviews, but our experience was nothing short of superb.

When we walked in, we were greeted and told to choose any table we wanted. We sat down, water was immediately brought to the table, and our very friendly waitress told us we could scan a QR code for the menu or she could bring us one if we wanted (I had printed the menu in advance, so we were all good). We ordered an appetizer and 4 chef special rolls. Within 5 minutes, the appetizer was brought out, hot and delicious. All 4 rolls were brought out shortly after (maybe 15 minutes later?), and oh my GOD they were fantastic. We've eaten sushi at MANY different places and these were some of the best rolls we've ever had. At one point, our waters were refilled without asking, by a very pleasant and attentive staff member who wasn't our waitress.

We were beyond impressed with the entire visit, and hope to go back again soon. Just sad we live over 45 minutes away.

We went there for dinner tonight and we were really looking forward to it. Everything was great until the very end. We’ve been going to Kobe for a long time and it’s always been great. The way we were treated by the server, manager, and even the hibachi chef at the end of the meal was unreal. My step daughter was the last one to get her cooked meat out on her plate. She ordered a children’s filet and was given filet… and then a whole bunch of chicken. When we asked why she got chicken the chef said she ordered chicken and filet. We said no she ordered a children’s filet. He said ‘oops sorry I guess I can’t read’…no big deal. But then when the bill came we told the server that there had been a misunderstanding and that we shouldn’t be charged for the chicken and filet when the children’s filet was ordered. We got immediate attitude from her and she said that since we allowed the chicken to be put on her plate that we would have to pay for it. She said she would talk to the chef and her manager. She came back and said that the manager told her we would have to pay for the incorrect entree. We then told her that we wanted to speak with the manager. Basically they continued to tell us we were wrong and that the order was repeated back to us several times and they were not going to adjust the bill. We have been going there for a long time and just couldn’t believe the way we were being spoken to. My husband told the manager that after all of his years of patronage that from here on out that they lost his business. The manager replied that’s fine you don’t need to come back. On top of that they now automatically charge 18% gratuity for ALL hibachi meals regardless of what size your party is. My husband and I have been in the service industry for years and very very rarely complain but I was so surprised by this treatment that I couldn’t let it go. Hopefully they get their act together and don’t treat anyone else like this, but they’ve lost our business for good

The past 2 experiences here post covid have been extremely disappointing. Just came in with a large party to celebrate multiple birthdays. Our server was amazing but the cook was not very good. We chalked it up to maybe they were new and cheered them on as they went. We told them we were celebrating 2 birthdays. They went through the rest of the motions and that was that. The food was ok but not the normal standards. We would have left just ok until the party next to us were served. Their cook actually acknowledges that tables birthday celebrations and squirted the sake which we also did not get from our cook. It was creating a really down mood because we felt like we got a much lesser experience. I tried to tell our server that our cook needs to be trained a little more so the tables have a similar experience that it was a little sad we missed out on so much and watched another group get extras we didn’t. Then she sent the manager over. I tried to explain that the other table got a little extra treatment and we didn’t and that they should train our cook a little better and instead of taking honest feedback he became defensive and said that the cooks just do what they want. I said that was not fair that there are so many differences in what the customers experience especially when they’re right next to each other and he basically told me oh well. All I wanted to do was give feedback on a sub par experience and ended up leaving frustrated and annoyed and slightly embarrassed as he made me shout over the stovetop to try to give him quiet honest feedback. Won’t be back for quite some time unless we find another place that can offer a decent experience.

EDITED:
Just received a response from the owner that said “Ok “Karen””. Yeah I’m disputing this charge on my card now so thank you for that kobe. You’re a precious piece of hot garbage.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and everything was fantastic. Our server and hibachi cook were on top of everything and the food was great! The portions were huge, enough for two meals. We will be back!

Food is mediocre at best. Asked for a menu and was told they do not have them. Waitress said you had to scan a bar code on the table for menu. Asked a different waitress and she brought them right over. Asked for a tall vodka tonic and got a short one. Appetizer came out shortly after my dinner. Not a pleasant experience. Also, the handicap parking is the last spot at end of parking lot.

Highly disappointed in Kobe. I’ve been here a few times but last night will be the last time. I always order the Steak and Chicken Hibachi combo with absolutely NO SHRIMP due to a shellfish allergy. Got all the way home (which is far from Greece, NY) and there’s shrimp on one of the dishes. I call Kobe back to let them know, and they ask me to send a picture to a number the lady on the phone provided. After doing so, the only thing they could offer me is a free hibachi combo next time. First off, There will be no “Next Time” and secondly I feel like she should’ve refunded me for the meal that had shrimp on it. I understand human error however I also feel when you’re in the food service business Food Allergies should be taken wayyyy more seriously being as tho some people’s allergic reaction could result in death!

First time ordering from here and the food was incredible. I strongly suggest trying them out when you're in the mood for something delicious.

My family & I came in at 5: 30, did not get offered soup until 645. When our food actually came it was freezing cold, every single plate had to go back. They did not come refill our drinks, only time they came to the table was to bring food. & that was it. We were freezing cold. Just over all horrible service.

I honestly think one star is too many in this case. My family had been here many times (dine in- hibachi style) and walked out with so many leftovers. According to the web sight they are not offering the hibachi cooking experience so we opted to get it to go. We ordered three steak and chicken hibachi and one kids chicken. First, the menu says the kids meal comes with soup or salad. When ordering I was told it didn't. After telling him that was what the menu stated he said well we no longer include that. I asked to speak to the manager and guess what? HE SAID HE WAS TOO BUSY TO COME TO THE PHONE! Seriously? Nice customer service. Then we we got home with our order we couldn't tell the difference between the kids meal and the adult meals. The portion sizes were so ridiculously small I couldn't believe it. Our combo steak and chicken had only 5-7 very small pieces of steak and it was totally overdone! There is no way we were given the entire steak. It's unfortunate that they are cutting corners because the consumer can't see entire cooking process. The decrease in quality and quantity coupled with the horrible customer service has me never eating there again. Be aware because this place is nothing like it used to be.

Never have I ever had experience like this at kobe's. The sauce was watered down the food was cold. I feel like regardless of eating in or out. Your food should still be the same. I called to express my concern and the manger did nothing. Not even apologize. All they said was they can add me to the blacklist. Crazy.
