We were still dry!
My husband and I visited here for lunch during our vacation to Alexandria Bay. They were very busy, but we were able to get a table outside. The outdoor tables and chairs were very sturdy and comfortable (almost like a bar stool and Adirondack chair combined). My husband ordered an iced coffee and The Cougar sandwich with jalapenos on the side and sweet potato fries. I ordered the chicken fingers with chips. The service was a little slow, but we didn't mind, especially since all of the tables were taken. The sandwich was delicious, but I was underwhelmed by the chicken fingers. It didn't come with a sauce so I asked for a side of bleu cheese, but I was halfway done with the meal before I got it. The bleu cheese was delicious and made the chicken fingers better, but they had the appearance of fish sticks, which made them seem a bit weird. Overall, it was a great experience for a reasonable price. I loved being able to sit outside!
We stopped by to get dinner after taking the Thousand Island Cruise. I had the cold Salad Combo Plate (Potato, Tuna, and Macaroni) and my husband had the Tri-tip sandwich. The food was the most delicious we have had in a long time. We finished the meal off with the best coconut cream pie we have ever tasted. Waitress was friendly and helpful. The prices were great! Wish we had a place like this in Utah.
Went to visit Clayton, NY for the 1000 Island Boat Tours. Stopped in this little place for some food and drinks. I have no complaints, everything was great! If you aren't sure where to go or all the other places look too intimidating, this is the spot to go!
Food was delicious! I had the veggie benny, my husband basic breakfast and my kids split the sliver dollar pancakes and French toast sticks. Food was great, and I’m picky about breakfast foods. We went on a Thursday morning and it was pretty busy, we sat outside tho and got waited on right away, little bit of a wait but understandable since they were busy. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town!
This place has great options for all to enjoy. There's a great vegan omelette and several vegan entrees for lunch and dinner, and the non-vegetarian choices were a huge hit with my friends and family. The eggs Benedict were excellent according to my dining partners.
Monday May 9/23 Hot turkey sandwich was very disappointing. Deli sliced processed turkey was used. Terrible tasting. Asked to have bread replaced with a scoop of vegetables and charged an additional $3. Server forgot to bring vinegar for the fries and when she finally did, she said "I forgot your stupid vinegar".
Will never go there again!
Average "diner" food. Terrible service. Took 1/2 hour to get the first cup of coffee. Over an hour to get food. Spent almost 2 hours to get final bill. Had to ask 2 or three times for simple things like grape jelly.
Go down the street to Bella's for breakfast!
Wonderful menu and sizable portions. We are working in the church steeple in town and will be frequenting as much as possible!
Their onion and liver are cooked perfectly. The friendly waitress and great environment. A fun place to eat out. Their prices are also fair, the ambiance is relaxing with many friendly smiles to welcome you.
Very friendly- we were a bit in a hurry to get to our boat tour - we received our food fast and it was great. Thank you Koffee Kove
The food was amazing and the service was outstanding! Thank you for allowing my fur baby to have breakfast with me. Honey loved all the attention!
Out of the world crab cake benny served with the genuine radiant smile and beautiful beaming eyes of the hostess is why small town America is your home even if it is not!
Food was alright, didn't like where we sat. Was a cold day and everytime the door opened you froze. They have a fire place but it wasn't on.
Came in for breakfast.
Staff made sure my coffee cup was never empty and had a delicious omelet with rye toast.
Would definitely come back if I'm in town.
I've grown up knowing this wonderful family owned spot. Good food, good service. I just wish they still offered all day breakfast options. Still a great place to eat!
Just had a nice breakfast today (11/17/22). Found out they also sell bakery items. Can pre order pies and other items. My guest placed an order for 2 pies. Was just under $50. I believe.
Service was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food was ok. It was kind of a busy place on a Wednesday afternoon in Clayton NY.
I think it's gotten over rated.charging 16.00 for something that probably should be half that. I don't know if we will be back up there. I'll cook at camp for half the price.and I don't have to drive 10 miles one way
Went here for the first time in several years. It was always a favorite over 30+ years and bought over 20 cups. It has changed for the better but got too busy for us to try and beat the breakfast crowd during the tourist season. The food today was good but the home fries were like eating gravel. Will try again during the off season.
