I didn’t get my hair colored here, but I came in to get my hair blown out and styled with a curling iron before my birthday party. They did an amazing job and the curls held all day!

I had the most wonderful first experience at Kolorbar 72! The staff was very kind, friendly and I had prompt service. Sandra, my hairdresser, was absolutely incredible! She took her time, was gentle and did fantastic work. You could really tell how passionate she was about her craft. Price was affordable and you leave feeling like a million bucks! 10/10!

I came here after doing so much research on a good hair salon and felt like the prices listed on the website were fair for a nyc salon. Little did I know I was going to walk out paying $300 for an uneven haircut and to refresh my black hair (which I guess she didn’t even dye it black it’s dark brown?). It wasn’t until I was told by 4 people at my work that my hair is uneven that I called and asked to come back to fix it and felt like I was up charged completely. I was never quoted on how much my cut was going to be (website says $85 base and my hair ended up being $120….) and I also booked a single process root to end - I was charged for a root and gloss/toner which originally said yes to thinking it was the single process I had originally booked. Never once was I told they would be separate charges and that my hair was going to cost $300 total. I would understand if it was some sort of blonde hair situation… but to refresh my dark hair? A joke. I went back to even out the cut (and Francesca was very, very sweet and agreed that my first haircut was done incorrectly and very sloppy and even offered to make it darker but let me know the cost before hand.i declined because I'm no longer giving this place my money - ever.) if you decide to waste your time and money here, make sure you ASK for a quote on the services you trusted your stylist recommended, and don't leave with a botched haircut like I did. I will be taking my business somewhere else and will recommend people to steer clear of this salon.

Sandra did an amazing job on my hair! She pays attention and takes her time and is very kindhearted as well. Definitely ask for her when you need a haircut!

I love this place! Hair and nails best place ever! Ask for alessia for do your nails I came from miami to get my nails done! And Giovanni is the BEST he transformed my hair! AMAZING!
