Korean Noodle House 넌 짜장 난 짬뽕, Queens NY

I dont know what's going on with the management here but I ordered over the phone for 2 jjajangmyeon, and 2 other dishes around 6. They asked for about 30 min so I showed up at 6: 40. Asked me to wait another 5-10 min so I did. Around 7, they recognized there was a mistake with the order so asked me to wait another 20 min. I already paid and my kids were waiting for dinner at home so I waited and guess what time the order came out? 7: 30! It took 1 and half-hour for an order and they weren't being sorry at all! Really? ! I don't think I will be returning here anymore. 바쁜건 이해할수 있지만 제대로 된 시간 프래임을 주셔야 하는건 아닌가요? 30분이면 된다고 한 오더가 1시간 반만에 나오는건 정말 아니였습니다. 앞 카운터가 일을 못하시는건지 사람이 모자르려서 그런건지는 모르겠지만 저 말고도 짜증난 모습으로 기다리는 사람들 많았습니다. 시간 약속 맞출수 없는 오더는 차라리 받지 않으시던지 1시간 이후에 픽업 가능하다고 첨부터 이야기 하셨으면 충분히 이해했을텐데 정말 별로였던 경험이였습니다.

간짜장, 찹살탕수육 시켰습니다. 음식양도 푸짐했고 만족했습니다. 간짜장은 느끼하지 않고 독특했어요. 찹쌀탕수육은 바삭하고 씹는 촉감이 좋았습니다. 한가지 흠은 고기가 많이 들어가지 않고, 거의 찹쌀도넛? 을 씹는 느낌이 많이 들었어요. 서버분들도 바쁘신데 친절하시고 음식도 빨리 나왔습니다. 다음에 또 올게요.

Ordered Noodles with Dry Black Bean Sauce and Chap-SSal Beef Tangsooyook. Portion size was very good and I left satisfied and full (!). Noodles were delicious and not too greasy, a common problem with jajangmyun. Tangsooyook was chewy/crispy and was just the right consistency I was looking for in Chap-SSal. One slight issue was I felt there wasn't a lot of meat. The place was crowded at 2pm on a Sunday but the waitresses were very prompt and food came out without a long wait. Overall the experience was very good and I will definitely return in the future. Good place.

The waitress used customers who left drank water cup and spilled little water on the table to wipe down the table for next customers. This is a disgrace and extremely unsanitary food safety hazasrd issue. Black bean noodle was extremely tasty though.

Waited 45 minutes for no reason. All I wanted was a simple jajamyung but I seen other people who order the same exact food as me get there food first. If I could give this place negative star I would. Never going there again.

Ever since 중국집 hasn't been the greatest, this is my go-to jjajangmyun place. The portions are really big, and the staff is very friendly. We ordered jjajangmyun and tangsooyook. Tangsooyook was one of the best I've ever had. We had japchae bap to go, and it was not bad. I'd recommend getting tangsooyook for sure.

We were visiting from Atlanta where everyone always assumes the best Korean food can be found, but I politely disagree. Northern Boulevard, with all its humble storefronts where some of the best and tastiest hidden treasures can be found. I thought I knew where the best jjajangmyun, or black bean noodles, could be found, but in the time I've lived outside of New York, this noodle house has apparently and recently gained the reputation of the best jjajangmyun in town.

There are tons of combination platters in case you're craving a variety of the most popular plates (with cleverly sectioned off bowls that keep the two entrees separate), but I went straight for my tried and true order of black bean noodles and especially appreciated that there was a vegetarian variety for non-meat eaters like me. I've never seen whole broccoli florets in my black bean sauce but I appreciated the healthful touch. Plus everyone else at the table who ordered the regular kind seemed to be gazing enviously at my verdant pops of veg.

The noodles are fresh, with just the slightest toothsome quality, and the sauce was just as delicious as my parents promised it'd be. We also ordered some of the spicy battered shrimp, which ended up being a little softer than I'd like, but when a dish is so saucy, it's hard to maintain a crunchy batter.

This was our very first meal after our plane touched down in New York, and it'll likely be where I have every first meal henceforth when I visit.

This is a place me and family frequent when in the area. The portions and the quality of the food is great and always hits the spot. They have a very extensive menu!

Food is really good and very inexpensive. Live in Philly and think about driving there just for the noodles.

Been here many times for their tangsooyook. Usually good. Not sure what happened here but today’s was horrendous. I don’t think the meat was even properly cooked through. I recommend avoiding this place if you want tangsooyook.

Came for the tri set of fried pork, jajangmyeon, and spicy seafood noodle soup! Top three things I would get at a Korean noodle house and now they have it all as one set. I had to come! Absolutely delicious and would recommend friends to come

Great spot for lunch — they have several lunch special options at great prices.

We had a jajangmyun fix with the trio bowl. This included your typical jajangmyun, spicy seafood noodle stew, and crispy fried pork at $15.99. Each component hit the spot for us.

Will be back to try the other lunch special sets.

Honestly In ny, you can’t find this kind of authentic Korean Chinese restaurant no more. I don’t know where these bad reviews come from (I guess maybe services?) but taste is just amazing.

Have been dining in at this place for sometime now with my husband and their black bean noodles and spicy seafood soup along with their garlic chicken hits the right spot. They even give a little korean yogurt drink at the end! Awesome time.
