Kristi Babcock Memorial Park reviews
15Very nice place, you can share with your family and friends, I recommend this place if you want to practice sports.
Plz keep this place clean. This place is super clean and police always around believe me always around and under cover watching the kids live it.
This park was a perfect rest stop for us as we tow our home on wheels. The parking lot is huge! And there isn't a lot of places around that we could fit to stop.
It also had a good bathroom and some tables.
The only bummer, which is why the 4 stars not 5, is the lack of shade on the playground. The playground is gated and has great equipment, but to rest in the shade while watching our kids, my husband and I ended up leaning on the equipment and having to sit on the floor to do that. The benches are all in the sun and most of the equipment is too. And it got hot! So, we didn't stay long.
If they could add some shade there, like those floating tarps I've seen at other playgrounds, maybe over the benches and some of the equipment, we would have most definitely stayed way longer.
Will maintains park by the town of New Windsor four or five dirt in field ballparks suitable for our ages since bases can be placed 45-90apart. Lit for nice baseball
Very nice park. Must of been a day camp there couldnt use any of the tables under the pavilan. No shade around the play area. All the play equipment was very hot. Have to try again on a cooler day.
My children and I absolutely love this park. Its the best one around.
My only complaint is the other day I witnessed a child vomit and I immediately let one of the workers know. He came with a bucket of water and dumped it right on the vomit and left. I figured he’d come back with maybe a brush and disinfectant to clean the area? Nope.
This photo is weeks later of the area and looks pretty gross. This is extremely disappointing and not ok.
Love bringing my toddler here. The facility is fenced in so she can just run her energy out. The playground has a padded ground and lots of equipment for all ages. There are benches around the periphery to sit on, a shaded pavilion just outside of the fence.
Pros:
Ample parking
Multiple fields
Free Wi-Fi
Excellent concessions
Cleanish bathrooms
Great drive to the field
Cons:
Ticks in the woods (can't help that I'm sure)
No grass infield on field 3 or 4
No shaded areas to stay in.
Bees
You need a cooler, large tent, sunscreen, and your own chairs during the the summer games. I wish I had a citronella candle in the tent. The sun on the 3rd base side of field 4 was murderous.
We had fun for our baseball game.
Very beautiful Park. We like it a lot. Clean and the ground is made so ideally for rain and kids.
Excellent large inclusive playground with a lot of unique play equipment - 2 year old loved it!
Very nice facility. There is no entrance fee which is a plus. There is a concession stand (a tad price but they take visa). Bathrooms were very clean all weekend. We were not huge fans of the portable mounds but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. One of the better ones we have been to for a weekend of baseball.
Great park. The playground is super nice with equipment for all ages and for kids with disabilities. It's also fenced in so that's super nice. Lots of ball fields and ample parking. The concession stand is reasonably priced and the food was good.
Multiple fields for all age groups. Be 4 stars if they would put up fences. Concession stand has good food.
I come here all the time, and it's probably the best park I've ever been to. They have a public restroom too! They have a playground for small children, and older ones. They also have many fields to play football, kickball, baseball, soccer, and more games on! If your looking for a park, and this is near, give it a visit!
