Roaches are crawling on the wall at this establishment as I waited for my food. Not 1 but 2, not ok.
Got a refund and left.

Sushi was delicious and prices were GREAT! Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant is clean. I got a couple rolls, my sister got the bento box- no complaints! We’ll be back!

Ordered from here through Uber Eats, tipped through the app. This place uses their own delivery people, so when i get my food the delivery guy becomes very pushy for a tip. He starts going back and forth with me about tipping him even after i explain i tipped through the app. Before he leaves he then threatens me saying "Do not order if you don't tip". I was at work so lucky for him i couldn't curse him out. But honestly that was very UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT RECOMMEND ordering from here unless you want to be harassed.

I did not go into Kumo for many years, because it didn’t look appealing from the outside, and the inside appeared small and dingy. Well, never judge a book by its cover. The sushi happens to be good here! It’s not great, mind you. You will not say “Wow, that’s the best, freshest, melt-in-your-mouth sushi I’ve ever had, ” but you will be satisfied and feel that you got good value for your money.

Prices are reasonable and the menu selection is excellent. They even have good drinks. For dessert, the tempura green tea ice cream is awesome!

In particular, I’m really impressed with the service. Five stars on that. We almost always have the same woman, who is extremely courteous, conscientious, and gets our order right every time. She is often the only server there, and manages to keep her cool even when super busy. The one time we went and she was on vacation, service was not very good, and the sushi wasn’t as good either.

Sushi was great, there were a couple bad reviews from a few years ago but the food exceeded my expectations. Food was amazing! SERVICE 10/10 Would definitely come back. Would suggest ordering the dinner box it was absolutely delicious especially the sashimi.

It was very delicious! My favourite was the sashimi. The sushi was great. The tempura prawns were amazing with the sauce. 10/10 Would recommend.

Hesitated over the reviews but still decided to try it out - people were right. They stuff you with rice, and it's not even good sushi rice. It's without the refined, slightly sticky texture you get from normal sushi. AYCE menu is small. Service is just ok. Will not return.

My fellow crab roll yummy but salty, I’m not much of a salt fan… I love that I asked for a lemon and it was a big piece and they put it on the side so I could squeeze the juices out, I hate when it gets thrown in bc I want the lemon juices squeezed out for the antioxidant effect

Typically an all you can eat sushi place will offer the option to order a specialty roll and it will be the same as if it was a la carte (no differentiation) … not this place. You’re paying $34 plus forced added gratuity for the equivalent of a giant bowl of rice. The tiny portions of tempura shrimp were mostly fried batter and the fish (that quite frankly wasn’t fresh at all) was sliced razor thin and the center portions in the roll were minuscule. I’m talking 80% rice 20% not so good goodies. Upon asking the server why this was the case she said that I “should’ve ordered a la carte” basically discouraging the option of an all you can eat sushi. Terrible business practice, mediocre food, and completely got fleeced. Sidenote, the place is actually kind of rundown as well… I wouldn’t doubt that the back kitchen isn’t looking so clean. It’s hard to be a successful restaurant in New York City and if this place fails it deserves it. Take your money and your appetite elsewhere… you’ll be much happier for it.
