Kung Fu Kitchen reviews
16 If u like Americanised Chinese food. Then come here for the experience.
Service n ambience is fine. But either I’m not familar with this taste. Or it’s americanised.
The soup dumplings were very flavourful, the juice beautifully mixing with the dumpling sauce. The staff was quick and friendly and the restaurant light and open.
My party had 2 people and the restaurant automatically added 15% tip to the bill. I did not suspect this when signing because restaurants don’t do this unless the party is 6 or more, so I unknowingly gave an additional 16% tip (minimal service provided). This practice is deceiving customers. I only realized this after I came home and reviewed the receipt. Double check your bill before tipping!
Highly Recommended!
We were in Times Square for the second day today and were no longer interested in sitting down at any fast food chain!
While we were walking and keeping an eye out, we suddenly found ourselves in front of the Kung Fu Kitchen.
Food: We once had the dumplings with chicken as a starter, they were really delicious, we both celebrated!
The main course was “hand cut” noodles with shrimp and once with shrimp, eggs and beef. Highly Recommended! Go here and eat something!
Service: all good! Friendly, smiling and polite. Nothing to complain about!
Ambiance: was nice, almost everything was right, the music was a bit too loud for us but we were still able to have a conversation. - Very good!
Amazing food and excellent service. The tables are a little tight, but other than that everything is great.
Love this place! Great atmosphere, large portion sizes, and not too crowded on a Labor Day weekend. Would highly recommend the Shanghai Xiao Long Bai and beef noodles.
The BEST wonton soup I’ve ever had in my life.even just the wonton broth was flavorful and delicious. The lychee tea was amazing. I’ll definitely go back whenever I’m in Times Square.
The sliced noodles with char siew, pork shreds with green peppers, and steamed buns are all delicious and the portions are full, highly recommended.
Dirty and be careful with the tips! One more thing to be careful is that all the bubbles teas are made by powders there
One of the best Spicy Hot Pot I ever had! The portions are huge. I went with few friends who are vegetarians and the staff was helpful in answering all the questions they had. The vegetarian dishes tend to be bland sometimes but here they were as good as non- vegetarian. Going to be my goto place for hot pots, dumplings and soups whenever I am in NYC
I came here to try the beef fried noodles and it’s great! The service is fast! Will definitely revisit
An excellent restaurant offering excellent quality food.
Big portions!
Local, intimate clean;
Service, good unobtrusive;
Price, correct for what is served;
Delicious, homemade noodles! Soup dumplings with their own sauce! Ramen, hotpots and Stir fry + Boba Tea (which can be made not too sweet). Tried this place once and went back the next night for more. YUM!
Really delicious food, friendly staff, easy to get to. My friends and I frequent Kung Fu Kitchen when we get together on the weekends. One of our favorite places to go!
Trying to be an authentic noodles restaurant, the food was OK at most, the atmosphere or design is unclear and chaotic at most.again OK food no more.sorry
