La Bella Vita restaurant reviews
13I was kindly invited to come sit down and try homemade pasta after a day of traveling. The food did not disappoint. I had been dying for a good linguini and clams and found it. The staff is very sweet and attentive. Check it out!
I liked everything very much. Delicious food, great atmosphere, great staff:)

This was our anniversary meal, and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect restaurant. Our waiter, Ronoldo, was extra attentive, and made sure our experience was a 10/10. The food was delicious, and came out quickly. I would come back to this restaurant anytime.
We came here by chance walking through little Italy. The bread and olive oil were high quality and delicious, the food came very quickly and service was friendly. I had cheese ravioli with an excellent sauce and fresh basil. Friends very much enjoyed the tiramisu as we’ll. Excellent.
We were just walking around looking for a place to eat when the host stepped out & convinced us to eat here. He was very friendly & knew the menu very well. He even offered suggestions for my little granddaughter. Food came quick & was delicious.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I try to come here a few times a month and the food and service is always beyond great. Ronaldo never fails to disappoint and it’s always very attentive. This is my favorite restaurant in all of little Italy ️
I found the waiter very impatient. Not many options on the menu and unfortunately it took too long for the food to be ready. The dishes weren't anything that required a lot of time to make. Only later did I realize why it was empty before we chose this restaurant.
Hello.
So if anyone is black coming to this restaurant, I recently went there with my fiancé who luckily is Albanian. And was overhearing conversations about how this restaurant doesn’t serve black people first due to the fact they can’t afford it. I was appalled. I spend money just as freely as any other willing person who loves Italian cuisine. Not only that but they eyed and continuously helped other tables before actually serving us.
The food looked wonderful. The environment and racism is disgusting and ruins the true culture of Italian cuisine and people.
Never coming back again unless they change the staff completely.
The young host was the first on the street to invite us in, which is what we were waiting for. The food and service were outstanding! We did not feel rushed and our server kindly answered all of my silly questions. If we are ever back in New York I would definitely come back!
Wonderful experience! I had Lobster ravioli and my husband had the special Lobster Diavola. The food was amazing and and our server Renaldo was great! The tiramisu dessert was yummy! We will definitely come back on our next visit to NYC!
While visiting little Italy with my father in law (who came to visit), we were greeted by a gentlemen who convince us that the food was authentic and that we were not going to be disappointed. The food was great and delicious, the only reason why I won’t give 5 star was due to one of the server (blue shirt and blue nail-polish), he had a rude face, behave like we were the one doing him a favor, and being that we were local I felt mistreated. Jose Luis the busser (busboy) was amazing and we thank him for attending to us.
YES INFLATION. I get it. I’m fine with $12 for a dessert but not okay if the portions are kid size. 4 bites of Tiramisu? $35 for half carafe of House wine? Angelos down the corner is same for a FULL CARAFE. Me frugal, not really. I was raised here on Mott st & Mulberry St selling fireworks since 1980s for Carmine. My biggest complaint is I was with my dad and I had to ask for a 3rd fork for a 3 people sit down. Then I had to ask for napkins? Is it just me or Covid messed up the SERVICE….
Average. Everything here is average. The food was average. They bring out a basket of bread and there is a bottle of olive oil on the table for the bread. Average. We had the penne vodka, spaghetti primavera & eggplant parmigiana. We asked for parmigiana to top our food; they brought out a bowl of grated parm and sprinkled heaping spoonfuls over the top. Fresh ground pepper was not an option. The sauce - both the marinara as well as the vodka sauce was average - nothing special. The service was ok - nothing to commend or complain about. Though there were only 3 of us, the server added 18% gratuity to the bill prior to bringing it to us. I thought that was a bit presumptuous. Not sure if this is normal at this place. We won't be back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
