Great wine selection, and during happy hour they're at great prices too! The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable if you need some ideas. Highly recommend if you feel like having a glass and some snacks in the area, great for a date or just with friends.

They got us a seat immediately even though it was super busy.

Leila was the star of the night and made sure we had a great time. She got to know us and our wine preferences and returned often to check in on how we were doing and offer up even more suggestions.

Taylor had a great ear for music and made sure the beats for the evening were on point.

Hands down, this is the very best wine bar in the city, with a wine list only comparable to top restaurants in Paris. If you want to experience wines from the top wineries, this place is the perfect destination to go.

I had a second visit, and once again, I had a blast. Malcolm, the sommelier, has always been so attentive, welcoming, and friendly, with extensive knowledge about wine. The food pairing suggestions were also spot on.

One of the most unique spots to drink rare and special wine in NYC! Overall, a wonderful vibe, great staff and the food and prices are a better deal than most overrated spots in NY and BK.

I’m all for letting businesses make a margin but the Sebastian David cabernet franc mark up was the highest I’ve seen. A glass costs $18 but a magnum which is probably 10 glasses worth costs $90. Basically, this is 20x wholesale. Seems like I gotta come to happy hour or move to France to afford a glass. Sarasota sparkling water wasn’t great. Fierce bubbles with a stronger pétillant than Perrier. Places like this make me think of the Disneyfication of NYC or opening a wine bar just like this. Genius.

The staff is top notch! Extremely easy going and always willing to help choose your next glass. The ambiance is absolutely fantastic - not too loud if stuffy, at all. And the food is really solid. It’s a great place to catch up with a friend or head for date night. No matter the occasion, you should go!

An upscale wine bar with a very comprehensive wine list, skewed French. Selection by glass is very good too. The burned basque cheesecake was good, but I like when it is more burnt outside. The cheese portion in a cheese plate is smaller than i expected.
There is plenty of place and it was 50% full on Saturday night after 8pm so we enjoyed a non-crowded boho ambiance.

What we love about this place is their emphasis on freshness and flavor. We can always find something new and inspiring to drink — their non-alcoholic section has recently increased in size by probably 20x — but we also enjoy sitting at the bar during happy hour and reading a book, inviting a friend to catch up at a table — we even celebrated my partners birthday with friends there last year! Great vibe and a serious wine selection. All wine by the glass is natural, but the wine by the bottle regular. The food is delicious (with the expected Manhattan prices). The waiting expertise is evident.

Tried twice. Identical experience. Great snacks. Wines by the glass are always interesting to pick but also quite low in quality. The offer by the glass is very minimalistic. Service temperatures are not great for whites that come out too cold to be assessed. Menu lacks critical information about the wines such as alcohol content, and even sometimes the precise name of the bottle. This approximation carries over to the service.
I learn while doing research at home on what I drank from the website that 3% fee for kitchen service is included. Nice idea but more transparency or a call out on the receipt in the dimly lit space would have been adequate.

They do have some outdoor seating in front of the wine bar for a little al fresco enjoyment on a pleasant day.

Only downside was that our waitress seemed annoyed when it took us a little while to order a bottle of wine (the list is thicker than a bible!) and was close of being rude.

Excellent food and atmosphere! Great wine list, very poor service. The wines are served at the bar, no way to see the label, non-existent advice. In short, it's not a wine bar, it's a bar that serves wine.

Went here for my BFF's bridal shower. I had emailed multiple contacts, several times, asking if me and a friend could arrive 3: 30-3: 45 (they open at 4) to drop off the cake, put up a banner and table decorations in our seating area. No replies. We couldn't come in before 4pm but they took the cake and toppers. The second we're seated, we immediately remove our clunky rain boots (it was POURING that day) and changed into more appropriate shoes. Our waiter tells us a a party of two will be seated besides us, as we're changing shoes as quickly as possibly. We find out there's a $5 fee per person to cut a slice of cake. Okayyyyy. The food and wine was LOVELY! Really good! The employee that took our photos and served the cake, he was the star of the day! Oh and that party of two, yeah they moved to a different table within 10 minutes of being seated besides us. First and last time there.

The bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable about wine. He allowed me to try multiple wines and offered a hospitable environment for me to relax and unwind. I had the roasted prawns and they were to die for; super flavorful, great texture, and generously portioned. Will definitely be coming back here!
