La Concha Mexican Restaurant reviews
15Small place. But food is really flavorful. Got 3 beef tacos so good. Got enchiladas with steak also good. Sloppy but really good. Also for some reason there was alot of water, no idea why. But it made it a sloppy mess. Still had flavor though
Food is delicious and the people who work here are so nice! The ground beef is really good here. Some of the dishes are authentically spicy and a bit too fiery for a gringo like me, but that’s my fault haha.
The food is great. Authentic. Owner and team make you feel at home.
This is on the top of my must go to places when I am in Westchester!
The place is home style, not fancy - enjoy it
When you go to a restaurant Mexican and see the kitchen with Mexican people cooking you know it’s going to be good! Very good food and the prices are very cheap it’s a 5Star to me!
A great little neighborhood restaurant with delicious food. We found La Concha a couple blocks from our hotel. The outside appearance is simple, inside is small but clean. The food was great and prices were reasonable.
I went to CVS across the street with my partner, and we were both starving. I looked across the street at the corner, and saw a window with a neon sign that said "open tacos and burritos". No real visible sign saying a name or anything like that however this was also at night. My partner and I figured, let's give it a shot. We walk in, and it's a small seating area, a few people hard at work behind the counter all speaking Spanish, soda in glass bottles, and an Amp blasting music in Spanish at top volume to the point that there was little to no chance of conversation.
I immediately knew that this was going to be some of the best food I've ever had in my life.
And you know what? I was right.
I got a glorious burrito with carnitas that was bigger than anything I've got before, along with a side of fried sweet plantains that melted in my mouth. Not to mention some delicious churros and a coca cola in a glass bottle to wash it down.
100/10
One of the bedt authentic Mexican food I had around White plains area. I initially started ordering from them on Ubereats and then decided to go check it out in person. The dining space is simple and welcoming, and the staff was amazing (even though I dont speak Spanish that well). This is will always be my to go spot whenever I want Mexican food! (Prices are good for the amount of food you get)
I ordered online but I leave near by so when I got my food, it was very fresh. I ordered the quesadilla dinner which came over delicious nachos and rice and beans as a side. I ordered my quesadilla with plantains and let me just say; it was life changing. The whole meal was incredible. I’ll be recommending this lil hole in the wall to everyone!
I can't believe it, how disgusting and disgusting that place can be when I went to be served I find that the workers were drunk and MORE DISGUSTING IS THAT THERE ARE COCKROACHES IN THAT RESTAURANT. I DON'T RE EAT THAT PLACE FOR ANYTHING IN THE WORLD.
Best Burrito I had the grilled chicken with plantains & it was so flavorful!
Super delicious food & they stay open late which is super convenient for fresh food opened late.
Pleasant homestyle environment, family run spot. The home made green sauce is great. I enjoyed the enchiladas very much!
Id hate to rate so low but how does my veggie burrito come out so damn greasy, would of rated lower but the salsa verde was faaaaaantastic. Maybe was just a bad rito. But my fingers are glistening
Amazing food! I just hope they bring back the normal french fries! The new ones are not good!
Food was absolutely disgusting. Enchiladas barely had any sauce, and they were covered in cabbage, carrots and cucumbers. It was like having a salad with a tortilla and chicken on top. So gross
Not the worst Mexican food I have had, but definitely not the best. It's probably a small step above Taco Bell. It seems like something I could throw together on a Saturday night with items out of my fridge. Portions were not great either. Ordered from Doordash and the driver waited forever while they made the food at the restaurant.
