La Fonda Deli, Roosevelt NY

Good place to eat some Hispanic food. Their hot food that's laid out is tasty and the empanada de platano is delicious

Edit: delivery isn't free. They charge you a $2 fee. I noticed it after my 3rd delivery. Also, some food items are over priced.

I will definitely not be going back to this place. Extremely bad customer service from the guy the taking the payments upfront. Food was okay at most.

The food it's average. The attitude of the guy there its nasty, he is not a customer service person. I've been there multiple times and attitude I get either from the girls serving and the guy upfront its miserable. Il rather go somewhere with my money rather than going there one more time.
People.don't go there. These people don't appreciate your patronage you doing for their business.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way but the food I ordered was overpriced. I ordered beans, rice and curtido with one tortilla. And they the guy at the register charged $8. I was near the area and I was hungry so I paid and left. I also noticed when I got home that I got two tortillas instead of one. The refried beans were too salty. The cashier guy was not engaging was quick to take my money but then took an extra moment to give change back because he was watching the soccer game. I had to hold my hand up in his face to get him to hurry up to give me back my change. The Mineola deli charge me half of what La Fonda charge for medium container. I’m sure the owner is going say that this does not happen in their restaurant…. Guess what it did happen at La Fonda. Please fix this issue.

2 stars because food is good but this is my 4th time i get a nasty attitude from these people im sick of it the other day they forgot to give me a dressing n this lady wanted to charge me 1 after i spent 50 dollars on a take order today i called n they are so impatient on the phone why do they make me feel like i have 10 secs to order? She gave me an attitude cause i told her to make sure they put the eggs for my enchiladas cause the last time i ordered they forgot they need to fix their attitude or it might be the last time i order from this place.

Food was ok.but my review is on service.the customer service is horrible.especially guy at the register today 7/25 rude didn’t even hand me my food I had to get it behind the register because he walked away

Worst place to go, food is horrible and also the price they charge are crazy. Go to midway deli up the block they have better price give you way more food the taste is amazing at midway deli don’t go to la
Fonda.

This place is my favorite they have alot of different Spanish food nice place good people I will highly recommended
