Very small restaurant.
Very clean and friendly staff.
The food and coffee are the best I have found in New York

A delightful little spot for brunch at the weekend. It took around 30-40 mins to get a table (next time I would join the waitlist online in advance!) but I was able to order a coffee while I waited in the queue. Once sat down, the service was fast and the food delicious. I had the salmon brioche and would definitely recommend.

Amazing food, it came really fast:) Staff was very nice and kind and even there were plenty of people waiting in front of entrance, we fitted in quite fast:) We really enjoyed it here and definitely come back:) So far the best brunch in NY!

The host (and owner I think) is soooo nice. She greeted us and let us know about our table. She gave us coffee and water while we waited. The rest of the staff is super polite and walked us through the menu.

The french toast is delicious! The coffee too. Everything was tasty and hit the spot.

Will come back for sure!

Got a plain croissant and I am pretty sure that it's the same croissants from Costco. Same size, shape, and taste. Didn't have the look, flakiness, or butteriness of a fresh, homemade croissant. Don't know if this was an off day when they substituted it (maybe they ran out, oven broke, etc), but their other croissants (almond, ham & cheese) appeared to be homemade. The plain croissant wasn't out on the display case either and was pulled from a box, so thinking that this may not be the usual case?

Looking at their past pictures, the croissant I got today definitely looks different from the ones that usually have. I should've taken a picture but it was very underwhelming that I ate it in regret. Was hoping for more since La Parisenne has been saved on my list for awhile and I've heard good things about it. But $4 for a plain croissant if sourced from Costco is just not it. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that this isn't normal, but just a heads up.

The French toast is incredible. Be aware that it was very busy on a Saturday morning and we had to wait 40 minutes for a seat. There wasn’t much service to consider once we were seated.

I strongly advise against this dining experience. Unprofessional and rude staff. Food below many others in NY. Small and not very clean environment.

A small French cafe hidden in a lane in FiDi. It has limited seatings so it’s better to come in a smaller party size. The cafe is flooded with customers and there’s always a line. Strong recommend joining the waitlist on Yelp/Google ahead of time. You can also enjoy 10% off if you check in on Yelp.

* Croque Forestier w/ Egg
Sautéed mushroom and brie enveloped in a grilled sandwich, seasoned with creamy truffle béchamel. The bread was perfectly toasted to a golden hue with a buttery aroma. I’m a fan of croque monsieur/madame, and they have many variations and add-ons on their menu.

* Salmon Brioche w/ Avocado
It was quite bland tbh, lacking the depth of flavors I was expecting. I thought their brioche bun would be more buttery. It would be even more boring if I didn’t add $4 for the avocados.

* French Toast
The two pieces of brioche bread were literally drown by the hearty number of blueberries and almonds lol. It was great but not remarkably special. The center of the bread wasn’t custardy enough. I need to dip it into the maple syrup to make it moist.

Such a fun place for a Parisian breakfast. We went here twice in a week because it was so convenient and delicious.

Excellent food, including desserts (no pics cuz forgot to take). Place is a little small, could use some expansion, but would definitely go back for seconds! Great service too.

I’m always so impressed by how such a “small” place, space wise, can bring on such a big crowd. But when you try their dishes, like their Croque Madame, or their French Toast, paired with a Latte or Minosa, it all makes perfect sense. La Parisienne has managed to utilize every nook and cranny of their space to curate a welcoming atmosphere through the workflow of the staff and their delicious dishes.

A true NYC gem worth visiting both by New York first timers or locals from every borough.

I can’t recommend this place enough. I had seen someone visit La parisienne on TikTok and wanted to try it out on out first ever visit to nyc. We ended up eating breakfast there every day for the 8 days we were visiting. Everything is so incredible, from the atmosphere to the freshly baked goods and the french music. The food is super fresh and it is clear they know how to make authentic good french food. The french toast, the juices, the brioche and the crab salad, everything is just so so good. The staff is french and the service they provide is great.

Unfortunately, I did not like that food, and there were cockroaches in it. I did not like it at all, neither the food, nor the service, nor the cleanliness. It is one of the worst coffees I have ever bought in my life. Very bad.

So…usually French toast is soaked in an egg/milk mixture before being cooked right? Just look at the picture. I paid $22 for bread and berries.

Edit: Owner gave great service when I received French toast that was not made correctly and refunded me. I honestly don't think I would've enjoyed it if it were made to their standards anyway, given that it was overly sweet even though the bread wasn't soaked and the outer coating didn't taste like vanilla or anything that would give it some flavor. If you love brioche, you may like it though, as the bread itself was very good.

Completely charming tiny French bakery and cafe with breakfast and lunch. Service was really fast and the tables turn over quickly if there's a wait. Loved the almond croissant, and the sandwich matin.

Beautiful little bistro with excellent healthy and wholesome food choices. A genuine must try. Be ready to wait a little even if you have a reservation and always have a reservation as this place can get busy.
