La Savane reviews
12I came back twice in one day! The snapper is so good! The waitresses have bad attitudes, but other than that it was cool. I will be back!
The food was fresh and tasty. Nice quaint little African Restaurant, my daughter and I really enjoyed our meal
The food was tasty, I had the porgy and Jolip rice and salad, Chardonnay. My daughter had the Fufu with Okra stew.
I went for the experience of trying FuFu. I was told trust me and I will give you the best. Did not realize it would be okra related and I only eat fried okra buuuuut I was NOT disappointed at all. I enjoyed the flavors and will have it again were I live.
I left a bag with shoes inside and one of the girls in the shop stole it and refused to return them when I called.
Terrible.don’t waste your money!
you order a lamb chop dish and come out with something else! I actually took one bite and walked out
Very disappointed, and don’t expect them to care if the customer is enjoying the food
Food was excellent, really left nothing to be desired it was very good. The prices are reasonable considering the very large portion sizes, each entree could have easily fed two people. The owner was very attentive and kind, noticed we were not very familiar with the food and stepped in to offer suggestions and show us what was what. Really made us feel welcome!
So I ordered 2 meals and 4 water to go and the bill came $68. I feel that I was over charged and does not know why there is a service charge of $10.40 when I ordered to go. On top of that, while waiting for the food, a bag rat ran inside the restaurant, wandered around then ran back out. I think the rat came from the bunch of garbage placed right in-front of the restaurant. The guy cleaning the windows and the table tops saw the rat, looked at my sister and me, and smiled. The guy was sweating and smelled terribly bad that the whole restaurant started smelling of him. This used to be one of my favorite restaurant for achieke and lamb db, but every now and then when I go there, something reminds me to stop eating at unhygienic restaurants. Over priced for nothing.
Very disappointed with this restaurant, staff fighting in the Kitchen with a lot of noise. Food taking over 45nm to come out. One server cleaning and serving food. VERY Bad dinning experience.
A pleasant little restaurant, clean and spacious, and family-friendly.
Wait staff accommodating, and even with limited English-speaking are able to present the menu and options; they weren't obtrusive.
The food was different, where the okra and lamb stew with plantain fufu was a mixture of tangy and sweet, and were large portions, filling.
La Savane has a new team that is fantastic. They are friendly, courteous, and professional. The overall atmosphere is convivial and enjoyable. The place is clean all the way to the restroom. Anyone can access the place. The food is excellent and well served. Great job! Please keep up the good work.
Highly underrated. The photos don’t do it justice and the food is amazing. I’d give La Savane 10 stars if I could
