La Tolteca - Buffalo, NY reviews
16This is amazing Mexican at a great price. Great service, great atmosphere, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend and will return.
Favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Western New York and some of the best Mexican I've had in most of the Northern states.
Great food and friendly service. We both had lunchtime chimichangas and the portion was more than we both could eat. Definitely will be back again.
Personal favorite. Food is reasonably priced and delicious every time (except the one time they put sour cream on my food when I asked not too)
Great Place to stop for any reason. My family likes the atmosphere and Loves the food. Portions are worth the money.
Service is quick and on point.
Great lunch specials. Chips and salsa for the table. Had the chicken chimichanga this time, but had the burrito last time. Both were very good. Beans and rice, especially the rice were good.
We have loved La Tolteca for years! Food is always consistent and of good quality. Service is always good as well. This is a family favorite!
They had lots of variety and atmosphere was ok but all the meats tasted like they were a day off of spoiling. I understand there is a seasoning some Chinese restaurant use that do this but I do not like it at all. Will never go back
Not sure why there are so many good reviews. I've been to many authentic Mexican restaurants outside the area that were fantastic. If you like canned food or have never tried authentic Mexican, I can see why you like this place. They do make an effort with ambience, but they seem short staffed and the food seemed half prepare lacking all the typical spices inherient in Mexican cuisine.
This place used to be decent. Gave them another chance. My mistake. No fresh chips or salsa? Half your soups you've never made once. Update your menu. This is the worst mexican experience I have had in recent memory.
This was my first time at this restaurant and I will be back. I love the decor. The food is delicious and our server was friendly yet professional! The best part.they have Coke products!
The food here is always so good, I love their chimichangas. Always flavorful and worth every penny. You get why you pay for and not a lot of places are like that anymore
Service was good. Food on the other hand was flavorless and Being Mexican myself; I need my rice and beans with my flautas. Decorations are awesome!
My experience was easily a 5 star'er. Our waitress Renee was super friendly, very attentive, and fast. Our food came out surprisingly quick, in a good way! They were so, so busy tonight I didn't expect it that soon. It was pippin' hot and SO good. I definitely recommend this place and cannot wait to go back (:
This location is worth the try. The staff was friendly, clean, food was good.a good place based on the meal to go if you don't like the salsa, cheese dip or meal too spicy. They have good flavor across the board but a mild taste which worked for me. For sure if you haven't been here, it is worth the try.
Loved this place. Delicious vegetarian options. Salty lime margarita on the rocks. Reasonable prices! They don't have enough servers but the wait was fine and service was accurate and casually paced. I world love to go back.
